I clearly gathered Rego's reputation before this game, so I understand Pindicators concern about being manipulated.

It does seem that Rego is sincerely trying to avoid that in this game, and is only making people second guess him even more!

I think less diplo manipulation is good for the Realms, and so I'm tempted to drop a hint to Pindicator that Rego seems sincere. I hope that he doesnt give up the attempt just because his previous reputation is so ingrained that no one believes him.

I read it more like Pindicator paid 67 gold to maintain the illusion of neutrality. Gaspar won't be convinced tho.

Well, pindicator definitely blamed himself too much in that chat. Could have easily made himself look like rego's victim more (which he was).

Given their relative economic strengths, the diplomatic showdown right now should be between Rego and Pin, with both trying to court Gaspadore. As things stand, we have the weaker Gaspadore and the vastly stronger Rego squaring off, trying to secure an alliance with Pindicator.
