Not sure why you guys didn't agree to a reset...of traits at least. There are a lot more civs available.

5 games = 10/11 traits used. THe idea is to make everyone use all different traits rather than a bunch of the usuals.

Yeah, that's basically all the traits. I think that's bad design. It exacerbates group imbalance for example.

For me it is excellent decision, which will force people to think and choose differently. Are they going to use their strongest choices in the groups to be sure they will go to a semi-final at least or they prefer to have harder times in the groups, while preserving their best jokers for the later and supposedly harder duels.

I actually agree which is why I was in favor of a reset, but I can live with this. In a world where we have two perfectly balanced groups then no reset is perfect, but that's not realistic here.
