We played, selecting Mathematics as the next tech. Unfortunately, I think my report at least will have to wait till morning; I have two more saves to play before hitting the sack.

Here's a bit of a report from my end in the meantime. First up, some of the land overview, and one showing where THH has explored.
If my counts are correct, I believe I will be settling both #2 & #3 city spots on the same turn (5 turns from now). Also since that southern city is going to need the crab improved, I'm thinking after the settler completes in 2 turns I'll kick out a quick Work Boat. Sent it the long way around that possible island to my SE to do a little exploring on the way to the crabs. Additionally, we'll need to snag Hunting as the next tech after Math so that I can improve that Deer and then the Furs.
Work boat exploration sounds good.
When you settle city B you'll want to delay chopping until maths, so I guess the workers should pre-chop and cottage the flood plains before then. Then improve the pig after settling and head back to the forests once maths is in. Do you need to send one of them back south to get the other city ready? After Hunting is sailing useful for the lighthouse lakes or is something else more pressing?

In progress: Rimworld ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All from before ending turn. So are the two demos shots, Old Harry, the first from before HAK ended turn and discovering Writing, and the second after, but both before I ended turn. Do you guys like the "screenshot" format (above) better or the (previous) "img" format? As of ending turn Verrieres Ridge is at 10/18 in the food box and Courcelette at 0/16, and 27/40 and 24/40 hammers in respectively.
I much prefer "screenshots" - if I want more detail I can click for it...
Can we get a double move out of the settler by moving him the third turn and then gifting him to HAK then moving him again? Or is that unethical? By the way I used that info to put Verriers and Courcelette in the micro sheet, if you can be bothered to keep it up to date it makes planning easier: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?...bkE#gid=10

Intra-team double-moves appear (for good reason) impossible; when I gifted HAK that warrior earlier it had no moves left on his turn.
Holy heck, that sheet is complicated. I ... will try to remember to figure it out and start inputting stuff, but no promises till exams are done.
That's good - I was just imagining moving a unit all the way along your shared border by gifting...
It's mostly just a formula to do food for you, which lets you work out when you want to whip etc. Don't feel you have to use it - it's just in case it's handy.

Hey, Old Harry, you know how you were wondering if 46 would like to sign up as a guinea pig for that game-viewer thing? What if we set up this game for it - then all our team members would be able to see everything going on without logging in. That could make group-planning a lot easier.
Sounds good - novice isn't on a team is he?
Oh, but wasn't there something about trying it out on PBEM first?
