What are you currently playing?

Hmmm, not sure really. Is the difficulty level different, or perhaps he's running some mods?

All the same. Yeah, it's really weird.

Do you really need consumer goods? lol I think you lose soldiers if you don't give them supplies, but it might be cheaper to reinforce them back to full strength later than to supply them continually before 1939. Although from that picture you might have more IC than you can spend on production anyway? So maybe just drop some consumer goods.

You can't drop consumers goods in any iteration HoI if you want your IC to stay at respectable levels.

Can you link me to the AAR you're referencing? Since you're following everything exactly, there's no way he did the cheeseball build -> infra into ^practical skills -> infini-IC right?

currently playing a load of Europa Universalis 3. Decided that i had run a bit dead in Crusader Kings 2, and figured that i might as well look into EU3, which all Crusader Kings 2 owners got for free some time ago (release of EU4?)

That's a great choice. Are you running the Complete version or Chronicles? (Napoleon's ambition vs Divine Wind IIRC)

Make sure it's the latter. Are your running a DAO map-mod, because I've found they make the experience a whole lot better.

Divine Wind ... Running it vanilla

@Noble: Yeah, you unfortunately do, because of the IC penalties dissent brings.

@Hashoosh: Here they are:

The first one is the really detailed one. I'm not following it exactly - like I said, I'm focussing more on infantry, which should actually make things cheaper - but close enough that the wildly diverging results I don't think should be possible. He wasn't doing any cheese either.

Thanks for having a look.

So.. Just played the weirdest fight in a RPG. Slight spoilers from new South Park:

Summoned Jesus to descend from heaven with an AK-47 to shoot up a group of nazi zombie fetuses.

I'm currently wrapping up the Dragonfall expansion campaign for Shadowrun Returns. It's pretty good- about 1/4 traditional isometric Western RPG, 1/4 Adventure Game and 1/2 X-Com: Enemy Unknown. The writing is great and really sells the game, despite the premise of the setting being outrageously stupid. I have a serious soft spot for anything Cyberpunk though.
