RBP7 - SPOILERS - Genghis Khan of Egypt

As far as the land between us goes, Egypt also has plans for one city between our borders. Fitting both in that area might be a...bit tricky. Thoughts?

_______________

Just to review:

1) Rome has sent a warrior at me early to try to choke my cap.

2) Rome has later sent a chariot into my land to try to pillage or worse.

3) Both of those units were killed without losses.

4) Rome continues to put chariots into the neutral area between us and even send military units (yes only a warrior) to the other side of my land without consulting me.

5) Rome killed my scout after I moved it according to their wishes and while negotiating a NAP...a negotiation they initiated.

6) I have the aggressive trait, multiple metals, and already multiple axes in play.

7) The power chart looks like this:

Here's the disputed area:

If Rome manages to settle it before I can then good for them, but otherwise I think trying to play nice isn't working out so well...

All of those actions seem to indicate they are quite covetous of the yellow lands beyond the great forest. I assume your "planned" site was for the horses? If so, were you thinking coast or north of the horse?

Sunrise, this is a minor issue, but why do you crop out the most important stuff in every one of your screenshots? The most important stuff in any Civ4 screenshot is usually the following in some order:

* Minimap
* Tech under research
* Research/Gold/Culture sliders (shows current beaker/turn rate)
* Score ranking

You do an amazing job of removing that information from nearly every screenshot. lol Not trying to be a jerk here, but keeping that info in your screenshots would make it significantly easier to see how your civ is doing in this game. If the images are too big, you could try resizing them (which likely takes less time and effort than cropping them all anyway.)

Up to you, of course!

After RBPBEM4 I learned for my own sanity to self-censure my screenshots a bit. Hopefully not enough to make my reporting style even worse than it already is. I know anyone could read anything on these forums, I just feel better not advertising, say, a chopped and whipped wonder in advance or whatnot.

That said, most of my cropping has just been due to size. I'll try to make sure the stuff Sullla mentioned stays off the cutting room floor a bit more often going forward.

I'd highly recommend playing in windowed mode and scaling down your Civ resolution down to something like 1200x800. That still leaves you a lot of real estate, but 1200x800 lets you take full screenshots you don't need to downsize or crop. My monitor is 1900x1200 and it was annoying at first switching to 1200x800 for Civ, but I got used to it pretty quickly and it made reporting so much quicker.

A few things in a row landing the turn before me. Like wonders and crucial city plants. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, just saying it bothered me and so I learned my stress level was lowered if I played a bit more coy from time to time.
