What will be the engineer chance in this plan?
t71 is the target, actually, and that will be a revolt to HR/Vassalage so add another turn. There will be about a 57% chance of an engineer, but if not Guilds itself will be only eight turns research max.

So basically Thackeray is the best city location in the history of the universe, and we need to grow it to size ten post-haste. That, alas, ain't going to happen but at least our missionary-sentry proves it's safe to settle.
In all seriousness, I cannot wait to read how everyone else decided their dotmaps, because obviously they've moved in very different ways. Scooter is about to lose a windmill for it.
Moving away from what passes for action thus far, the next risky farmer's gambit settle, Dostoyevsky, is about to get finished. How fast can we erect the Colossus? Let's see.
Oops. Wrong game, here's what we were looking for. Nice worker force, at least.
Here's the southern empire. Sorry about the lack of big turn 50 update, but I recently did a city-by-city update anyway. Remind me turn 60 and we'll show off the empire with many more cities.
Gee would a shrine be nice right now.

Welp, there's not any fighting going on, but the RNG sure seems to be supporting us. Hanno is Scooter's, he bulbed something without power (I think) so...Currency? Not a bad play if he's near getting a pair of island cities. Serdoa, awesomely enough, got a Prophet, so he'll probably either try to bulb a religion (Christianity, nice in AW) or settle.
We're getting little bonuses with free spreads, the second was at EoT into Dickens. Again, not the first choice for culture-need, but it's certainly a handy thing. When happiness becomes an issue we'll revolt, GA swapping is probably a bit far off.
We continue to show merely middling stats, although next two two new cities with push CY and MFG up at the price of pushing GNP down. Brian is honestly starting to scare me...we need to flash a crossbow or two his way to discourage adventurers.
So far, so good, although I expect a farmer's gambit calling force from Lewwyn or Brian at some point. Lovely little empire we've got, at least. More cottages are being built, so the economy isn't going to completely tank.
It's a sacrifice, but I'm sinking hammers into barracks on growth cycles. It's worthwhile to get 2-promo 'phracts later and 1-promo spears and crossbows now, just sucks because we are going to fall behind on the city race. Brian needs to hit "not us".
Aforementioned Carroll aside the next wave of expansion is heading the other way from Brian. The plains hill plant, obviously short-term focused Twain and Wilde aren't in the idea spot for long games, but for now they get up and running fast. We need mature whipping/chopping spots for 'phract pumping, none of this long-term bull.
Which makes me wonder...Scooter is an acolyte of Krill, and decidedly favors the cottage economy. Serdoa is Phi with the 'mids...Scooter might be a much more optimized target...although farmed SE lands make great whipping spots.

Hooray for finally founding Dostoyevsky! May the city thrive by kissing a hooker on the perimeter of a proto-gulag! That's what you call a border expansion.

Software builds 0C31, EC32, EC33, EC34, EC35, EC36, and 0C32 in the last three days. Sorry, work has been a bit of a trial this week, normally I play during my lunch break and type up a report after, that's been a bit hard to manage the last couple days.
Long story short, growing, chopping, expanding, Monarchy in. I'll make a point to take more pictures this turn.
