Having a bit of trouble with the save, too many units. So I'll pass it along now after the four turns played over the weekend.

Sorry I couldn't have played a few more, was fun while it lasted.

The save.

For lurker's eyes only:
Gully Foyle woke up. He wasn't sure where he was, that blow to his head really messed with his sense of direction and he must have jaunted straight out of the plane of the galaxy. "Last time I go out with Dagenham and Y'ang-Yeovil" he muttered. Looking out the door of the opulently furnished bedroom he found himself in, he realised he was in a very strange place, for he could see he was in a place with strange rules and where magics were practised contrary to the laws of physics.

Startled by a sudden noise he felt the tatoo scars fill with blood as he turned around. A small woman ran from the room, screaming "Tiger!Tiger!". Some guards burst in to see what happened, but he subdued them using the accelerated senses and reactions he bribed the Mars Commando surgeon, oh so many years ago, to implant in his body. A wizened old man then entered the room, saying "The signs were true, a man of tigrish aspect, fast as lightning and silent as a smelly fart would come and lead us. Though his stay will be short, he will teach us wondrous tricks and lead our circus to new heights of glory."

Foyle decided there and then that he would need to get away this bunch of madmen or he would soon be consumed by their madness and return to his own, where he destroyed millions in his pursuit for vengeance. So he resolved there and then to build a jaunte stage from which he would be capable to return to his true home and the people who loved him. Drawing up plans and remembering half-forgotten technologies he finally devised a stage worthy of the task, ten miles in diametre ringed by a group of stanting stones carved by many craftsmen into aspects of furious fancies and knights of ghosts and shadows. It was truly a wonder of this strange world, they dubbed the Nexus.

That was not the only act of his, realising he was up against a vicious vampire bitch, as clever, as obstinate, as perverted and as mad as his true (abandoned) love Olivia, he resigned himself to creating a new stronger army for his adopted land, mad though it's denizens may be and figure out a plan for which to beat her. This plan was well under way with many soldiers streaming to the front by the newly learned skills of the jaunte. Would they be enough? Would they be in time? Would they even win?

Gully did not know, for on the morning the Nexus was finally finished he travelled there, wearing the strange raiment of this planet, stepped on the stage, and vanished...

[SPOILER]Sorry for the lack of pictures, nothing interesting happened.

Whew. I've played five turns so far, and the amount of units involved in this game is just stupid. We are talking maybe 2000 units on the board, total. It took half an hour for the AI EoT moves on the first turn to resolve. Is anyone going to want this save after my round ends?

I think I'm next after you; I'll give it a try if you post the save. If it's more than my meager computer can handle, I'll pass it along.

So uh... Thoth cash rushes the lesser towers, then every player after him fails to notice, and spends their turns building countless thousands of troops? That's the impression I'm getting.

We had countless thousands of troops already!

Worst part is, no one actually does anything with those troops either.

Let none ever say that this game failed to deliver chaos.

Save attached, report coming when I have time to mentally process this crap.

On the plus side, there are no longer 2000+ units in the game!
