Should we tell Trolls about the sad state of affairs on all of the other teams?

Why now? I mean, this game's been a story of organisational woes since the Pirates almost didn't manage to get turn 1 played. The Trolls must be somewhat aware from the various dramas along the way, the almost complete lack of active diplomacy in a full diplo game, the fact they're cruising to victory against some supposedly credible opponents. ... Oh, I, TEAM has officially crumbled. Since Lewwyn posted in public, I don't see why everyone playing can't discuss whether they wish to continue the game in public. From a lurker perspective the game has been "dead man walking" for months already, with only one possible winner, perhaps barring a 4 vs 1 dogpile.

Oh Menagerie:
I count 40 unimproved grassland tiles surrounding your capital. Such a shame.

Old Harry's proposed diplomatic message is supposed to ask Trolls whether they can settle the island south of On the Rocks. How ridiculous.

So I haven't checked here in the last month, and don't have a solid idea what happened in the couple months before...what the hell is going on?

Tasunke has no business playing any sort of long-term (i.e. probably more than a week) multiplayer game.

Yesterday I stopped by the TEAM Game thread just to see Tasunke spazzing out and figured it was time to fully cut the cord and join global lurkers so that there's no chance I'm asked to help again.

Reading this thread is a bit surreal, remembering everything that happened now. I have to say I would never have made the moves that TEAM ended up making (the pink dot settler) if I had been playing by myself. The entire situation was weird because I felt like even though I was playing the turns I was beholden to the group. The group dictated the diplo and the group dictated the over arching goals. I was trying to get input on everything the entire time. When we originally decided to pink dot Trolls, the city would have been 2-3 tiles north of the what ended up being settled. We would have gotten horses faster actually gotten a chariot or too and would have been able to hold onto the city.
Honestly, Group mentality was really dangerous here. I was like, "Okay, I have all these people around and I've got Krill backing and pushing these moves so even if things go a bit bad people will help me figure out how to fix this." But I think people realized that it was "unfixable" and just ran off.
The diplo... man I knew it was unsustainable, btu at the same time I was already turnplaying and I didn't want to be actually writing the messages. GES started disappearing and suddenly I had to start doing that too. Then Troll's axes sped along by fast workers made it clear that the city was in trouble and nobody wanted a diplo situation. No one was reaching out to Trolls, so I had to, bu then I didn't feel like I had the power to make any deals or the power to make any decisions for the team, so I was hamstrung, ineffective and as the game progressed the lines between Trolls and TEAM got deeper and more difficult to reach an agreement. I really thought if we could get peace before we settled the city, and then settled the city during enforced peace that would be awesome, but people said no peace.
And then there was just me. So I said screw it, made the best deal I could (even though Plako got the better of me because really I didn't have great leverage.) I think I then recovered, made peace with Gillette too and simply settled into AP economy growth.
I gave up playing at the point I did because it was clear to me that while I was still in a winnable position, in order to win I would have to do a ton of diplo, the turns would be longer, and I would be dealing with other teams that were, truth be told, a rank below the Trolls. This meant it would likely end up being me having to micromanage the other teams in order to lead a successful dogpile. And forgive me for not wanting to try and dogpile Plako... So I didn't see the point in continueing. I had had my fun building up the civ and had no desire to put the work into trying to reach a win condition in a game where the leader was clear and the other 3 teams were struggling mightily. I do feel a twinge of regret thinking of Tasunke "managing" the cities.
It was interesting, I just wish Krill had stuck with me.
TEAM is dead, Long live TEAM.

BTW comparing the amount of work that Trolls are doing to any of the other teams is pretty ridiculous. I guess their just having too much fun to accept that they're going to easily win and as such want to play it out.
