Yeah, I'm counting draws. But I did add up to a bigger number than I really believe. I think on average we will only get about 1.6 winners, not 1.9.

This suggests some research: what is the historical average number of winners in our games? I think it would be much less than 1.6, but I havent looked back at the game list to prove it. Ichabod, everyone knows you won PB7, don't even pretend.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. (November 5th, 2014, 13:06)Ceiliazul Wrote: This suggests some research: what is the historical average number of winners in our games? I don't know about games in general, but in games that I played that also had mackoti in opposition, the stats are thus: pbem23: draw pbem29vets: mackoti win pbem43: mackoti and his sub both left, game called, could be interpreted as a win for me (I was very likely going to win the game, and several opponents acknowledged this) or as a draw (I advocated for calling the game because we lacked the players to continue and it was going super slow, so is it really fair for me to accept the win). pbem47: mackoti wanted to replay a turn in which some of his moves hadn't saved, I wasn't willing to because I had subsequently taken a massively important turn in combat and foreign relations, game called as a draw. So... lots of draws. |
