So I popped the Ruins before it could spawn any Lizards, thankfully.



Not bad! I get that spell for free eventually, but it comes much later. I think I'll have odds on a Spider now, as long as I have terrain coverage. On the downside that Fort is going to be a hassle. Based on score increases everyone but Ilios has popped a tech. Unlike Mardoc, I have no idea how to divine which ones they got .

Archers upgrade to horse archers.
Ljosalfar archers have dexterous.
Do Ljosalfar horse archers keep dexterous?

I don't see why they wouldn't keep Dexterous. Units always keep promotions when upgrading.

Enchanted Blade, Poison Blade and the like are all lost on upgrade to a different unit class. Dexterous may work the same way. Or maybe it doesn't.

If it does there would be another trick to play. Nightwatch upgrade to Assassins, so the Ljosalfar could transmit their dexterous bonus to Assassin line units too. Who needs sinister?

Dextrous, like Enchanted Blade and Poisoned Blade is an Effect, not a Promotion. I think that's the problem. It only applies to Archery units.
