Rise of the Queen Mother

pholkhero Wrote:Player: Queen Catherine of Russia

To second Sullla, they tailored the map to fit the game, along those lines I think that While the Emperor difficulty is really intimidating in this game, I find the Pangea to be the scariest part eek . Pangea always war is, IMHO, the most difficult. Good luck!!

all right, abridged rules, Vers. 1.12:
Player: Queen Catherine of Russia
Difficulty: Noble
Map: Standard, Pangea
Opponents: Monty, Mao, Napolean, Bismarck, Alex, Toku, Genghis, Julius
Rules: Always War...

so, i think that would be okay w/qwack...any other couple-three players want to join up??

The Finalized Version.

Rise of the Queen Mother!

Civilization: England (Leader: Victoria; Traits: Expansive, Financial)
Rivals: 8 Angry Men (Alex, Biz, Genghis, JC, Monty, Mao, Naps & Toku)
Difficulty: Noble
Map: Pangaea
Mapsize: Standard
Climate: Temperate
Water level: Medium
Starting Era: Ancient
Speed: Epic
Victory Conditions: all enabled, but anything less than conquest is a loss!
Variant: Raging BARBS!! Always War!!

This IS extreme! I figure the Rag Barbs will help us as much as not, though; we upgrade our troops, get free cities, AND the AI is slowed down, too...

If you don't mind if I may ask for a skip on a weekend when it unfortunately comes to it that I'm up on one and can't play - then I would like to join this one too. Might be a good experience for all that comes afterwards, military is always my downside - I'm a builder and have to learn how to get this military stuff going, especially in pre-gunpowder era... smile
Come not to me again: but say to Athens,
Timon hath made his everlasting mansion
Upon the beached verge of the salt flood;
Who once a day with his embossed froth
The turbulent surge shall cover: thither come,
And let my grave-stone be your oracle.
Lips, let sour words go by and language end:
What is amiss plague and infection mend!
Graves only be men's works and death their gain!
Sun, hide thy beams! Timon hath done his reign.

I should've posted here first b/c i got CFC players pretty quickly too...maybe you'd still like to lurk and play as an alternate ~ Timon will need to be skipped sometimes, as I might be?? if not, i won't be offended smile but i would like to include you . . . the love you take is equal to the love you make lol

Including zilchy as an alternate is a good idea and fine with me ! Then I won't have a bad conscience if I must ask for a skip wink thumbsup
