That is a ridiculous amount of forest in the northeast...are you planting one more city north of the spot next to the clams?

Yes there is a "c" in the NE corner of that island claiming clams and some of those forests.

Granted I would have more fun, if I considered I would have a better chance, but this is alright too. If big powers start fighting, maybe I'll get a chance. At least I can try to be the king of the hill on our backwards corner of the globe.

In the game I killed the WB of Yuris when it got on to normal route of my Galley. I also forget to unload my settler last turn (sloppy, I know) so my next city is delayed by 1t in the island. I settle towards Rome since there is a danger he'll try to settle in the island to feed their GLH. Praets are big threat so I'll probably invest early hammers to build Axe out from the city.

I'm still accumulating gold and options are fighting in my mind. Currently it is between Currency and MC. I don't think I'll go for HBR.

Gems improved and far away city founded. I'll be whipping those libraries next turn and then I had to make final desicion concerning the tech path.

I don't know exactly, but goog guess is that they're east and potentially close enough to settle the island.

This turn is/was the desicion time and in the end decided to go towards MC and gamble for Colossus. It would be a big wonder for me since the island doesn't contain that much cottageable land. I'll probably then focus on farms on land and focus on specialists in most of my island cities.

LP shanigans still continue i.e. no sign of him changing his ways. I'm trying my best to not write anything on tech thread. I would really like to see him replaced or Nabaxo taking over. He promised to change his ways, but that didn't mean anything. I don't mind too much about his ways, but he has been able to demoralize way too many players.
