Why don't you settle ON the fur for a 3rd, 4th city? Still a poor city working only 3 tiles like forever, but IMO the best use of the area.

That is the other reasonable city site for the area: the cost is that it can never steal the corn, so I would need to focus on growing the corn city to be a decent hammer city. It's not a bad trade off; I originally envisioned planting on the fur but afterwards changed my mind because stealing the corn would allow greater flexibility both in how I use the cities, and in planting a silver city.

Okay I see, because it blocks full use of those tiles up there. That silver is going to be a pain to hook up though.

Gotta be honest, I'm getting a bit disheartened that just about everything that can go wrong with this game (well after the leader/civ combos got drawn) is going wrong.
Have you seen my land in PB7? It's not much better And I don't even think I have the worst of it there...
