You saw his thread? Crap, now I'll have to restart on the map, reroll for pick order, and let you guys pick again. I guess better now than 100 turns into the game.
I'll get the combos edited into the map tonight and see when sunrise is able to get the game launched after I send it to him.

I clicked the last post button, vaguely saw something about him owning the post count contest and closed it instantly (after carefully noting down his micro plan). And yeah, I noticed that he starts with gold, corn, pigs, fish, sheep and coal.

Liar, you can't see if he has coal or not. And no mention of his triple river grasslands gems? You're not even trying to troll.

Have we been told anywhere what the world wrap is? If not, do we prefer to remain ignorant of this until we plop down a city and see how much it costs?

The players may not think so when the barbarian submarines arrive.

You saw the part where the mapmaker saw fit to give him Steam Power at the start for balance?

I just sent the map off to Sunrise with a request for a really long timer for the first turn, so Slowcheetah and flugauto aren't rushed. When he gets to setting up the game he'll set up the tech thread and post the login information, with an exhortation to please check and make sure everything is correct. I checked everything and it looks OK, but I also haven't done this before so double check you have the right techs, civ!, leader, everything. And if you didn't get three gem tiles in your start, I don't want to hear about it.

Will this extra long timer run to early Monday evening GMT? Because thats's probably the earliest I'll have civil redownloaded.
