Regardless of Coerva's port issues, could the game be paused? There is an issue that requires a bit of resolution, a public post will soon follow. In the meantime, it may be worth for people not to log in to save reloading points.

[TECH] Pitboss 37 IT and Tech Issues Thread

It's probably my terrible connection at work. I know we've been able to play/join at the same time before, we've actually posted about that in this thread on page 3 or so.
I'm done now regardless, JR4, go ahead (but agree with Bacchus that it's probably best to repause when you're done). I`ll play shortly, will repause when I`m done. (July 18th, 2017, 07:44)Bacchus Wrote: Regardless of Coerva's port issues, could the game be paused? Are you talking about the need for a replacement for Russia, or something else? CML's friend seems quite embarrassed to need help and I've posted a replacement recruitment thread on his behalf. I'm assuming, given the situation, that you would be ok with a spoiled replacement in lieu of retiring to AI, although of course an unspoiled lurker would be best.

Yes, that's the issue. Thanks for your initiative, Mardoc.
While I'm actually not at all okay with a spoiled replacement -- unless every other player in the game is also allowed to read through every other player's thread up till now -- I suppose we'll have to bite it anyway, if it's the only solution that doesn't kill the game. Is Ruff still available for subbing? He posted this in late March: (March 25th, 2017, 09:28)Ruff_Hi Wrote: subbed for the ride.
Yuris125 has volunteered to sub. He's unspoiled, so should be a perfect solution. The only delay now is getting him access to the civ, and enough time to get himself up to speed. I've sent out PMs to try to take care of the password situation.

At the time, we didn't know whether Russia had retired to AI during their turn, in which case a reload would have been needed to fix this (I think). That didn't happen, and we've already found a replacement (which is what I'd wanted the pause for), so I'd say, feel free to resume the game and play.
On the next turn, we'll need a pause so that yuris can log into the Russian civ and get acquainted with the game state. If he's in the second half, I'd ask that you leave it paused so that he can make changes on the current turn.
