(I got my vaccine yesterday :o)

Same! Moderna, so it'll be 4 weeks until I get the second jab and 6 weeks until I'm basically fully protected.

Congrats on the promotion! :hat:

I'm still waiting for our government to finish pulling their head out so I can get my vaccination. Hopefully by May.

My youngest was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago yesterday. So we've been in the hospital for the better part of a month walking that journey. frown

Oh my. I'm so sorry for you. I know that there are organizations for bone marrow donations in my country. Are there any in your country or international so we might be able to help, if possible?

I'm sorry to hear that, brother. Please let us know if you need assistance from the community, such as via a GoFundMe.

I got my second shot of Pfizer around a month ago, mild flu-like symptoms afterwards, but they faded within a day.

How terrible for you and your family, Brick. Cancer is scary, but for your kid? I can't imagine.

Thanks for the thoughts y'all. He is so far responding to chemo well, actually going in today to check the status of his bone marrow after the first month of treatment. Thankfully so far this is all getting covered financially, so we haven't been in any danger there. Emotionally for us though it is very hard, never a path I could have planned or prepared to walk down.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Brick, but glad that the chemo is going well so far. You know all of us here love you and have got your back, whatever a band of Internet grognards scattered around the world can do.
