I can't wait until next turn so we can see our copper.

yeah. Lord Parkin has been playing so late that we might need to wait another 10h though.

What a grazy luck. Copper is in the tile under improvement currently and I don't see Warlord's copper anywhere. This calls for extremely agressive settling. At size 2 we could whip an axe out of the Noms and send him alongside with the settler.

Not as good as the Anglo-French popping their copper underneath their capitol after we razed their copper city but pretty good none-the-less.
If his copper is on the farside, then is it feasible to axe rush him?

Yeah that is probably one of the luckiest pops, but this isn't far from it. Feels like Christmas ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) .
In the east Warlord has stopped the moving of his warriors i.e. they haven't continued towards us and are in sentry positions.
Below is picture from the far west. I decide to round the Locke city from the south since Locke told me that it might be a bit faster route towards west there we also got visibility to his capital that is obvivously nice. I think Nakor/Gaspar are doing a mistake with their scout close to us. It didn't run directly towards east, but decided to check what is SW from us.
Next tech AH since apparently we can do without roads for a while.
We need to get also workers in numbers soon, but I think 1st priority is to settle towards Warlord and there is a fair chance his city will go north and not towards us so we get it maybe to c2. Looking forward to see his messages after that ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) .
I also sent a picture of Nakor/Gaspar copper location it is north from their capital in about similar distance as our copper.

I don't think so. Only, if we could somehow occupy the tile and keep it that would work. The distances are quite long after all and that would be very expensive.
I'm very happy, if we can claim way more that our fair share of land from the middle. That also should force him on to the offensive that is actually good for us. Defending is so much easier.

Obvivously, if he settles towards us i.e. No copper then there would be a very good spot to hit him. I'm not counting on that. He seems to lack diplo skills, but I think he has done good job at pure civ skills so far.

Actually, France popped copper from a mine the turn they lost their copper city. That is the luckiest single incident I've ever seen in an RB game.
OTOH, your copper was there at the game start so isn't exactly what you could call luck.

And my rush was exactly enough that even one spear (there was no way they could have gotten 2 spears at their copper city in time) wouldn't have saved them. That was absurd.

There were some luck involved although you might call it destiny or how it was meant to be by the map maker ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) . Starting from the fact that we considered that Fishing is essential when we didn't find farmable resources (well probably we would have had BW at settling time without Fishing), that Warlord acted the way he did so that we decided to befriend with Nakor/Gaspar and then delay settling towards them. In many cases I think the city by the gold might have been the 1st one for us. Furthermore the only improvement we can sensibly make around Noms to get WB out faster is a mine and we ended up making it right in to the Copper tile. As a bonus we're in a position where the copper can really make a difference.
