Here as well (obviously, since I just played the turn). Sorry for the 13 minute turnaround, but I still haven't got the email (used the download button instead), and I got a little caught up arguing about something in another thread.
As for T50, earlier on in my own thread I asked the lurkers whether loading old saves to look at demographics was considered fair game or dodgy, and the conclusion was there wasn't a problem with it (as long as you didn't move anything differently to reveal different tiles etc.). I hope others don't think differently, in hindsight I probably should have asked in this thread or something.
My point being though that we can at the very least send the save for T50 first and take screenshots while we're waiting for it to travel around the world. I don't know about others, but on my computer it takes what feels like a minute to load the demographcs screen (or the F4 screen or any other similar screen), and then another minute to take the screenshot, so if we'll likely get one less turn finished if we're all doing that before sending the save.

Loading up previous saves is fine. Obviously the Blitz is more important but I just wanted to inform everyone to do a t50 update before we passed it.

What sort of machine are you running? I should buy one. Mine isn't that old but it's not new any more either I suppose. Honestly I have no idea why it takes so long. It's everything though, even diplo with the AIs there's a big wait. It's not really literally a minute but it's painfully slow.

that's the weird part. My computer is a laptop, 1.5 years old, not that great at all. Maybe something's weird with your installation, idk. I mean after like 150 turns or so my turns start loading slowly, but getting the demos and other such screens is always pretty much instantaneous

I asked the same thing of my lurkers  . And got the same response.
It seems perfectly kosher to me - so long as you don't change the save you sent, or explore tiles you couldn't have seen, it's just the same info you had, only with more time to evaluate it.

Which is still a good point.
What do we traditionally need for it? Things I can think of are demographics, overview of land, techs, capital, plans for the future and general opinion on how things are going, am I missing anything? Are these linked from anywhere, or just posts that we should make in our threads that people can find their own ways to?

People generally appreciate either the city overview screen (the one that lists all cities) or a screenshot of every city, as well. Basically, enough info that they can do a direct comparison between us in any category, and then laugh at our plans 
Just posts, although some particularly ambitious souls make a table of contents in their second post of the thread and link to things.

Well, include as much as you want. Not everyone is going to do the same level of update though, so if you dont feel like updating in depth too much then make sure to grab a demogs and domestic adviser screen so lurkers can make their own overview updates in the lurker thread.
