[SPOILERS] Meh. Plako organizing mess

plako Wrote:Now spying on luker thread I presume wink.

Well I totally understand. Haven't really been regular enough with my reporting.
With all the drama before, I couldn't help but follow along. Sorry. frown

Small hassle in the tech thread concerned the highlighted tile below. I've roaded it for obvious reasons, but keeping HAK happy while he has Great Spy still running a round is hopefully good idea. Currency is coming in 7T. Worth 18 Commerce immediately.

I've changed positioning of one of my cities in the island and I'll plant that city in 2T. It has couple of big benefits over the original place 1NW from the current positioning. It is on hill. I've Sevenspirits/Mackoti to my north and I'm sure I'm seeing some clever plays from them to kill my border city. It is also closer to rice so I get improved sooner and shares more valuable riverside tiles with other cities. I'll probably cottage also hill tiles around the river. I deparately need commerce tiles.

Little progress in crop yield section. That makes a bit happy, even if these are still very crabby and I don't have anything in my sleeve to catch up after the failed wonder races. Just trying to play solid basic game here.

Does HAK even have alphabet? I feel it should be pointed out that a great spy can't really do a whole lot of damage without a normal spy to back him up!

I don't think he has it yet. Haven't checked it though. However I hope he finds someone else to infiltrate or does something else eith his spy. Just the side effects on infiltration are annoying enough e.g. city visibility.

well thats true, he'd be able to keep tabs on about every aspect of your empire and you would have next to nothing on him. But no missions w/o alphabet.

HAK definately isn't too close to Alphabet. He just founded Chritianity. I think he went there way too early definately lacking several key economy techs. I'm glad it was founded in his southern border city. Northern one would have been way more annoying.

Is this even possible? I don't think you can gift units to players you're at war with. And obviously he can't walk his missionary into a hostile city.

The worker can just be captured but I don't see a way to spread the religion in an AW game.

He could gift the missionary. That would obvivously violate even the most relaxed interpretation of the no gifting/trading rule. Missionary probably can't enter the city to spread the religion.

You can gift a missionary to a person you're at war with? Really?
