I could go with the argument that I've already spent enough hours fiddling with the map save file to want to cover it with ocean or desert or whatever, shuffle starting locations, and run the console command to wipe out resource placements (if redrawing the map as ocean or whatever didn't do that part for me). The better answer is that sand boxing is another one of those indirect game skills that you use if you want to. If you want one, you'll build a good one. Most of the hard part had already been handled, as ,you guys have specific info on the map script, world wrap, and map size/dimensions. Anyone who wants a sand box should be able to produce a usable one if you're willing to spend about ten minutes on the job. I'm not trying to be a jerk (just this once!), but I don't think that just because I could do this easily means I should. For instance, if someone rolls a sandbox and screws up planning because the sandbox wasn't set up correctly, that's a factor in the gameplay that separates the players as the game plays out. Sorry.

I'd share mine, but it'd be extra work to put in all the civs and leaders. And the main burden is putting in the terrain anyway, it takes a minute to start a game with these settings. And thanks again for giving us the map specs almighty Xenu, destroyer (and creator) of worlds.

I'm going to Cardiff for a major Magic tournament this Saturday. If I do well, I will have to stay there till late evening, and won't be back home till early morning Sunday. So, I may be unable to play from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon. Can you please pause for me if I will be missing the turn
