Turn 046
C&D notes: Commodore planted his 3rd city. Other people grew and some other people got unknown techs. Old Harry got some land points. Someone's mfg is nuts because we have nothing but hills and forests and they're still dwarfing us. Someone else's GNP is nuts but that is probably CRE or Religion induced. Edit: Or maybe we drew the short straw on the map... again
Clinton hit size 3 this turn, so it's now all-hands-on-deck for Stonehenge.

We finished the farm for the rice last turn, so of course there are no plans to use it. Perhaps it would have been better to use those worker turns in roading towards Bush, but we will be using the rice tile right after Stonehenge is built. The plains forests have both been prechopped and roaded; on turn 48 we'll chop the plains forest and on turn 49 all 3 forests get chopped. The rice worker moved to the forest north of Clinton; we also finished our 3rd worker out of Trump and he moved to the forest SW of Clinton.

Note the forest regrowth at Trump.
Been starting to think about what happens after Stonehenge and the complicated chopping, which means we need a plan to get a settler out of Trump and to the copper/fish city. I'd love to just start a settler right away, but I don't have enough warriors (thank you animals). So Trump is going to quickly pop one out over 2 turns and then we'll start the settler. And hopefully we don't run into any barbarian or animal issues... Speaking of which, after Pottery is done we're going for Archery. Yes, I need AH, but I'm going to get archers online first. PB19 left lasting scars.
Anyway, it's going to take 2 of our workers to road towards the northern city, and it's going to take a ton of worker turns, which means the 2 turn delay from making the warrior gets mitigated quite a bit by the road brigade. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to road up to that city, but right now if everything goes on track then city #4 is going to be online on turn 57.
I'm also in a bit of a philosophical conundrum when it comes to building granaries. Do I whip them out, considering our lackluster growth and heavy production? Or do I just emphasize mines and save the production? Should I even just delay them and go for AH first and hope for horses to be uncovered in a better spot than copper? (I would really love to have horses around Clinton!)
