The PM I received said "I'll retire [...]", but when I logged into the game this turn, it didn't say "AI" next to Russia's name on the scoreboard, which I assumed would have happened. I'm not sure if I didn't overlook anything, though -- can anyone else check this?
yuris would be on the first half of a turn-split; that's why I'd prefer the pause to occur on the next turn.

Heads up I might need a pause this evening, but I should get to the turn well before 2000 GMT so the pause would be for something like an hour.

Due to the natneg server being down and unable to make a change, I need to request a pause until I can log in an make a single change.
(also, I think we ought to either pause the game, or perhaps more smartly, Dark Savant should stop logging in a billion times a turn).

I also cannot connect to the game all of a sudden, getting stuck on "Contacting peer" and then bounced off, when CivStats shows no other player being online.
Suspect it's related to Zulan's server being down.
EDIT: Checked civforum.de, players also seem to have problems connecting to Pitboss games there since yesterday

Uh, does this cause problems, other than spamming the civstats log?
