Cool, btw, I finally got a steam key from 2K a few days ago, next time I might be able to help out with the other game.
Anyway, it was pretty fun to do some relaxed micro here. You'll have a pretty nice amount of land if you're able to settle all this too.
Also, I'm not sure if you've thought about national wonders yet. I thought personalhamster would make a good HE/Moai Hybrid and the latest fish/pig/2 LH lake would be a nice NE.

Sweet! Steamworks is pretty cool, it makes hosting the game a lot easier I think.
I agree about the Moai spot, I've had that spot planned for it ever since I found it. I've been hoping for stone... maybe I can buy it off someone, but I'd have to build up some overflow first to ensure I can finish the thing in 10 turns.
I was able to play this turn at an airport (we missed our connecting flight, heh ) but I'll try to post my thoughts on the state of the empire in the next day or two.

Don't have time to do a full update, as I am still jetlagged as hell, but wanted to post this:
Mack's capital.
So, he also has a double AH start (as I speculated at the beginning of the game from my capital screenshot; I guess some people got double AH but stronger food, some got hunting+AH but weaker food), but he picked Productive, which I had ruled out as a 10 turn worker would not have been able to improve either food until T12. So, what did he do? What I think he must have done is 1.) mined a plains hill for a 5h tile that became 7h with productive/imp, 2.) teched BW immediately as first tech, 3.) went worker->worker without growing to size 2 first. Since we know he rushed Gavagai, he might have immediately chopped an Axeman with his river copper (if only mine had been on the river, woulda still been BFC ), and then immediately chopped a settler afterwards. So, he wouldn't actually need to improve the livestock until T28ish or so. Seemed to work out pretty well for him! I'll have to remember that, if playing with RtR Expansive (as its unlikely that ToW Productive won't get changed) and get an awkward food start like this again. Still, I'm glad I didn't pick Qin (the guy I had considered for Pro) as with only 1 happiness resource I woulda been really screwed I think unless I successfully landed the Mids. (but then again, no stone)

I'm beginning to think you enjoy these last minute travel arrangements.

Oh man, no way, the stress from this kinda thing kills me... my wife ended up getting sick, I ended getting even sicker, will probably miss another day of work, and I'm pretty sure its gotta be from the stress of missing the flight + spending the night awake and miserable in LAX.

Im still sick as hell, but I had a fever dream last night that included TBS logging into change all my city names to garfield comics. So, while this update really won't be up to standard (at least my personal standard, maybe par for course with my updating in this game lately), I'm finally taking care of business:

Overview:
Anyways, the story is that I've almost caught back up in CY:
But at the cost of MFG:
Everyone's power is on the rise. Once construction is done, I plan to pump out a bunch of defensive cats.
Overall demos still mediocre:
One final thing. We have this situation in the north:
I thought this kinda thing was against the spirit of AI diplo. I think he just wanted some XP for his HE unit, but OTOH, its not like I can stop him if he wanted to snipe the city - I mean sure, I have 5 units there I could hit him with, but almost all my trade routes either come from him or go through his land. Plus, he's freaking huge, and I'm, uh, well just look at those demos. I'd have to be freaking retarded to declare war on him.
Current tech plan is Construction -> CoL -> MC. My maintenance costs are huge (87 gpt, with plans to settle one more city soon), so it would be great to take a bite outta that. Forges would be wonderful in a few of my production centers.
Next turn I'm gonna try to buy stone from Parkin (another reason not to war with him) to complete Moai in personalhamster.

My gpt went up about 20 this turn, from wharves and trade routes. Seven offered to sell Dyes for 6 gpt; I'm so desperate that I accepted even though I felt like a dirty AI for doing it. I then offered to buy stone from parkin for 8 gpt. So... I'm pretty much right back to where I started!
Turned on research on Construction and finished it in 1 turn. We're 5th in GNP with research on, but unfortunately we're almost 1/3 of the top GNP. (who is likely in a golden age, but still, things are dire)

Krill, if you're reading this, is your post in the tech thread about Parkin's chariot up there? Or did he do this kinda thing somewhere else too?

You are right that the picture you posted is one such example of a fucking huge rules violation. Beyond that, not comment.

Well, I feel like if Parkin gets forcibly replaced then my situation will change so much that I'd rather we just call the game to a close than get a replacement. I go from having a hugely powerful northern neighbor who has been fairly gracious to me, and probably currently sees me as a nice buffer against Seven and Haram, to having a hugely powerful northern neighbor who will no longer have any animosity with Seven and Haram and thus see me as nothing more than Knight food. (which are probably coming soon, giving his huge GNP)
I wish I knew what other evidence was against him rather than being asked to convict based on circumstantial evidence alone. If it's just my screenshot, then, like I explained, this communication doesn't seem like it should be a game-ender given that I couldn't act on it regardless. Making him delete his HE chariot seems fairer.
That said, there's already a lot of pressure to eject him from the game, so this might be the final nail in the coffin - which doesn't seem entirely fair to me. I mean, I agree that he should try to arrange a temporary sub given this sudden life change for him (which I'm still not sure on the nature of), but, given that he doesn't seem to indicate that this is a permanent thing, can't we give him a little bit of slack? Doesn't all the goodwill for his months of help in PB18 get him just a little bit of slack here?
