We ask for temporary right to step into your lands a little bit so we can bring our boys home.

Any objections? I'm going to draft a reply to Apolyton here shortly.

Just ask them to go back using previously unveiled tiles or so.
Though given that we are about to send missionaries into their land and scout it that way, I'm not that concerned with them moving a unit around in our lands.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Tell them to take the most expedient/convenient route. They are our closest allies, and we're fudging the no scouting (a bit) by moving the missionaries for them. No need to press this point at all.

Yeah, what BGN said. I would say something to the effect of us not minding them taking a "short path" through our territory.

Yeah I strongly concur with giving them the thumbs-up given that we're walking around in their land as-is. How about this:

Hey no problem at all, feel free to do whatever's most convenient for you. I think we're good enough friends by now that we can cut each other some slack.
Thanks,

Draft to Apolyton Wrote:Apolyton,
Glad to meet you! Sorry, we sent our initial message to your other email address, so I'm glad I've got the correct one for you now. We are happy to have Open Borders with your great nation. Would you be interested in swapping some geographic information on each of our immediate neighbors?
Thanks,

If we have something unusual here we'd like to add, let me know. Otherwise it's just small-talk chatter.

With the apolyton message maybe just volunteer the information? At this point it can't really hurt and comes across as a nice gesture. Other than that they both look good though
