Alright, I think I'm pretty much done building infrastructure now. Every important city has a factory, coal plant, coloseum, and public transportation. The coastal cities have drydocks, too. I finished plastics at the end of turn, and I've got a work boat sitting on the oil, so next turn I'll switch to theocracy (RL7 built the pentagon) and start building battlewagons.
I've built 2 airships, so they can start scouting around to see what RL7 is building. I'll have to coordinate that with the others, too (really glad I ended the war with them quickly!). And we got a great merchant! I'm really hoping to pop a great engineer in another city, soon, for three gorges dam. I won't build it unless we get a GE.
On the plus side, our health and happiness problems have pretty much cancelled themselves out (from cities starving...). And our production is not too far behind that of RL7. On the down side, their tech is really taking off- we'll need to do some damage quickly, or they'll do what I originally wanted to do, hitting us with advanced flight and modern armor before we're ready.

Yeesh, this is not looking good. Seven just declared war on Yuris, and razed two of his cities, including his national epic/maoi city, and his bridge city to the hub. Yuris still doesn't have assembly line, so Seven can pretty much raze whatever city he feels like. Adding insult to injury, Seven just got a GG and the three Gorges Dam. And I'm still 6 turns away from being able to do anything. All I can do is send airships over to look at his land.
I did, however, get my first battleship and tank this turn.

Argh... opened the save today to see this:
What the hell, seven? you messaged me just a few turns before to confirm that we were still going to maintain our NAP until turn 150, and then you do this? I mean, you were probably going to win anyway, did you really need to lie to my face just to make it even more certain? That's a blatant act of war. I'm launching a strike on his maoi city on turn 147. Unlikely that it'll work, though.
Unfortunately I didn't have any extra workboats there, because I didn't think I'd need to defend it until turn 150, so this costs me two turns of battleship/transport/tank production.

Wow, 7 really has no respect for his agreements. I told you a few turns ago to just break the NAP and destroy a few of his cities because he ripped any agreement to shreds ages ago with his unethical behavior. I hope you rip down his Maoi city because it is well deserved.
I'll probably never play in another RB game again because I simply don't have any use for the whole win at all costs mentality of the best players. I'll take blatantly hostile jackasses like WarlordDr over smiley gladhanding hypocrites any day.

Cmon... let's see some luck!
I knew he'd see me move out, and that he has enough ships to block me from Lorien if he wants, so I had to move pretty far out so that I can approach it in several ways. I'm also faking like I might head to the ex-french cities, so maybe he'll guard there.
I doubt this will work, but it's the best I could do. We were really far behind.

Finally the site is back up so I can post this!
Lorien was too heavily defended, so I had to settle for taking out his other, smaller northern city instead. Lost two marines, but killed an ironclad, machine gun, infantry, warrior, and a bomber. We'll see if my fleet can survive.

Small victory this turn:
Of course, the overall war is still hopeless, but it felt good to at least take back one city, and kill about 15 units in the process.

I have to say, playing this game (and PB4) gives me a newfound respect for this book: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Influen...on_History
basically, my army is completely useless right now. And even though RL7 have a huge advantage in power, they can't really attack by land either- only by sea
