Yes! Anomalous is the word that I wanted! I didn't think of it, but it fits perfectly.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.
1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.
2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.
3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.
4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.
Just giving warning that I may have broken the game. I saved my turn mid-turn, because I had to leave to work. GMR ended up recognizing my midgame save as the one I had to send to Dave, so I cancelled that order. After I continued playing and finished my turn, GMR didn't allow me to send the finished save, saying it was the wrong one. So I redownloaded the turn and replayed it. Hopefully nothing happens, but I just wanted to give a heads up.

Yeah, this is what happened to me earlier in the game. Mid-turn saving is not the application's strength
Guys, I won't be around from tomorrow morning (03 July, 0630 UTC) till Friday morning (05 July, same time). I'm travelling to Scotland for my company and won't be back before Thursday night. Sorry, for this unexpected pause.
As for my trip: I arrive at evening, will go and try to find somewhere to eat (and something I am actually allowed to it, no milk-products for me), sleep, next day meeting (nice guys as far as I can tell) and back to the airport. But I'm kinda used to that, even though I didn't do it very often lately. Some years ago that was basically my life, nearly every week another place to visit. Cool job, but at some point you just want to sit at home with your wife and ... well, sit there actually and do nothing.
I enter my password to start the turn. I see my empire for a second, and then i go back to the password screen, except now it wants Ichabod's password. So... I can't play my turn?

Anyhow, thanks for listening to my rambling
Gotta have some time to play the turns, right?

Well, I don't even have a password, so I'm not sure about what's happening. I didn't do anything unusual this last turn (like saving midgame or something like that). I accepted a diplo offer from you, but I don't see how this can be relevant.
