Congrats Krill! Nice strategic move...
Superjm, OT4E, Elkad and Donovan are the only people likely to have the mod installed, I'm sure one of them would be up for a bit of subbing. I've added 20 hours to the timer - hopefully I'll be able to play tomorrow afternoon.

Hey Superjm, thank you for taking care of the game it is much appreciated. I'm going out of town this weekend, and I'll try to log back in on Monday to see if I can connect now that the anniversary is over.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
Guys, if you don't want to accept my concession, you will need to sub me out because I am done with this game. I don't have either time or mental energy to fight a multiple fronts late game world war and I wanted to move on from this game already about a month ago. I actually spoiled myself a bit as I was certain that the game is finished after my concession. I only skimmed a bit last pages of important threads, to be fair, and have not learned anything new.
Also: fuck you, Krill. You have practically stopped playing a couple of months ago which was the main reason Harry was able to catch up and the game dragged on long enough that I stopped caring about it. And now you don't want to give me leave? Fuck you with a rusty screwdriver, man. Maybe Mackoti wants to take over for me? He is spoiled but at that point of the game, there are no real secrets left.
Woah, Gav, I think there might have been some nuance missing.
I am more than ready for this game to end. I formally conceded the turn you wiped out OT4Es stack back in March. I have not removed that concession. I do not see how the game can fairly continue with either of our posts in the public thread, but I also do not think what I am about to write is unreasonable either: I don't see how I can win from this position, but I also don't see how either of you can successfully invade me without opening themselves up to attack by the other. This means that either of you will win this game, but neither of you has yet won the game. Right now I still see this as as a draw between you two. I don't think requesting a sub for your position is unreasonable. (June 9th, 2019, 01:22)Krill Wrote: Woah, Gav, I think there might have been some nuance missing. That's what was posted in my thread It provoked some reaction If anyone is willing to take my position and play on, I am all for it. I am pretty sure it is still very much winnable, it just needs an experienced and motivated player with enough time on hand. I only recalled that circumnavigation is a thing on, like, the third turn of war with OH after he walked into an empty and supposedly safe city for the second time. That's how out of focus I currently am
And I don't consider it a draw, very clean victory by Old Harry. I rated his performance as the best in this game even before the current war was started: he had a very difficult starting position, much worse than yours or mine, and played it excellently. And he was able to keep it up until the end, while I lost motivation somewhere in the middle of the war with sj.
The Chinese Empire would be delighted to negotiate the surrender of our worthy Incan adversaries, however we recently discovered wine and so we are far too hungover to post anything coherent.
To that end we formally accept the Incan surrender and suggest that we take over the running of your frankly terrifying civilization to the ends of crushing the vile Portuguese and freeing us all of the bondage of playing out the next 70 turns until our glorious cultural revolution victory.

I don't think requesting a sub for your position is unreasonable. We don't need to invade you to win - we just need to destroy enough of Gav's naval capabilities to mean we can defend our islands for the next 70ish turns until our third city goes legendary. Obviously if you choose to invade us to stop that then Gav wins and if you join our attack on him then we win, but I assume you're not going to do either of those things. Gav was probably going to take 2-4 more cities from us (depends how many units he has loaded on his galleons right now) before we could get enough SOTL together to destroy his stack of privateers and frigates, but none of those cities are vital to our culture attempt or give a salient to attack our culture cities, so I can see why Gav wouldn't want to keep playing it out. Especially since late game is so much more about morale than actual power (© Charriu). So can I go read your threads yet?

It was very much a team effort - I totally recommend having Hitru (three wins in a row for him now) looking over your shoulder, shouting directions and pointing out all your moves. And Charriu and Shallow Thought were great for keeping morale up through the tough times. You played a great game too - your first 200 turns seemed awesome from our distant viewpoint. I can't wait to find out what really happened.
