Is Trundle the most balanced champion? I heard he hasn't been changed at all since his release and he's been considered both OP and UP depending on meta.

I think it varies, depending on whether you're close to 50% W/L or not. For instance, if you go 9/1 or 1/9 in your first 10 games, you get double points for longer, because it's assumed that you're outside of your 'natural' ELO range. I think it's a minimum of 10 though (which is when you get an 'official' ranking).
Krill Wrote:How do people play Udyr? If lane, he is a fairly sustainable tanky DPS (as opposed to "retardedly sustainable" as he used to be) that just farms the top lane. Since he can trade harass with most melee champions and has good sustain and scales rather well he often is a good pick. He is heavily countered by kiting teams. Tiger Udyr is what you will do most of the time in the top lane, I've seen The Rain Man do some Phoenix but I don't get the point - Phoenix is only good for farming. As a jungler, you can go Tiger or Phoenix. Phoenix Udyr with proper runes is the fastest (viable) jungler in the game. Clears camps really fast and can gank early like a boss. It makes him really good because his speed and sustain makes him rather unpredictable and can clear your small camps in a matter of moments. He also doesn't need Wriggle's Lantern as most junglers do. Tiger gives up on some of the speed and doesn't counterjungle as well, but he has some additional single target burst for ganks. Either way you will still probably end up with Tiger Stance at level 5. Just be a standard tanky DPS. The damage that is good is in the form of items like Triforce, Wit's End or even Gunblade and I even saw Bloodrazor a few times. Of course, an underfed jungling Udyr can opt to just becoming a stunbot with Bear Stance and just make himself tanky. Udyr is pretty versatile, so to speak. You can even use the AP ratios on Phoenix and Turtle, but I never made use of that. But anyway standard builds involve Spirit Visage, Trinity Force, Wit's End, and tank items.
Theoretically then, I could play him as a tank, and use Rylai/Abyssal to get AP for Phoenix stance damage? I'm asking because I intend to use him as a second character on Dominion.
Sigh, first ranked loss. Russian instalock Twitch with Heal, ends up with 20 cs and 0-12. A Warwick goes 0-10 and gives blue to Veigar twice. A Soraka goes 0-5 bot, whined all game and didn't even try to play. I've managed to pull off some crazy stuff, but sometimes no matter how positive you stay, how well you play and how good you lead, you'll still get your ass kicked in twenty minutes. I used to be at my skill level at 1400 in US, but now 1400 feels like total ELO hell.

Theoretically yeah, an AP-off tank build can kinda work on Udyr (seen that a few times, never actually played it), but normally if I wanted damage with utility (slows) I would get Trinity Force. You will have to be in the brunt of the fight and you have what essentially is a superpowered Sunfire Cape with some bonus numbers on your Turtle. It can work as a stun-bot with some slow sustained damage if you can keep up with the mana between Turtle and Bear.
Any thoughts on eHome vs. WorldElite last night?
I only caught the second half of game two (when ehome was up) and game three, but a) WE looked a lot stronger, even in the game they lost b) Caitlin was a complete cipher in the game - 260 creeps and nothing to show for it. Morgana, I'm not sure that she did much better - Soul Shackles have big visuals, so I wouldn't expect to miss them. Maybe they were hidden by the Nocturne ults. |
