You, sir, are a fiend. I do believe the combat and event logs only show the renamed name. Dreylin can only figure out they were samurai if he somehow notices the extra first strikes in the combat log.

Well one of them is still alive so if Dreylin sees it he should be able to figure things out

Also, I popped a GS, which means next turn I can go golden and change civics. I'm considering going from Rep/Vas/CS/Merc/Theo to PS/NH/CS/FM/Theo. NH, well, I don't want to draft, but I need the happiness, PS means that I'm going to have a little bit greater leeway over the coming turns and I will be throwing out those boats really fast. FM, I'm not sure about. It gets me more commerce, and I can use Sids which me and Darrell have a deal about, but I'm not that enthusiastic when my happy and health cap are limiting my pop. And I really like my highly promoted boats...

You get WW from losing units in enemy territory and for capturing cities. So if you quickly capture all of Dreylin's territory, you can experience even more of it!
