Well, this is interesting:
I guess I know why we haven't met anyone yet!

OhHo! That's going to make early conquest difficult.
OFC, seaborne raids are still an option.

Worker #1 finished at EOT . Going straight for worker #2, of course.

Explosive early commerce/food has always been a strong point for the Lanun. We also got two early boosts: 1) The Lanun now start with Exploration as well as Seafaring so they get a slight boost to teching Fishing. 2) The RNG gave us Mushrooms on a river grasshill early which gave us an accelerated early growth curve --> more hammers/commerce sooner.
And we have not yet begun to truly break Falamar.

We're actually not that far ahead at the moment - it'll be when our workers finish their tasks and the coves grow up that we should pull back in the lead:
Speaking of which, we're farming the corn, and started on worker 2. Calendar in at EOT, we'll revolt to Agrarianism (and check the other civics - it may be time to swap to Religion as well), then start in on Crafting.

Agrarianism can wait until after the first settler is built . We're only going to have one farm in the capital.
Religion/Agrarianism can wait until we can get some use out of them

Well, technically we get use from Agrarianism in three turns when the corn farm finishes - but I take your point. Not much purpose in spending time in anarchy before we have to - and maybe if we're lucky we can delay the swap until we can pick up a third civic for free.
In any event, it seems unlikely that we'll get many turns in the next couple of weeks. That said - I would really like to get out of the press enter phase as soon as possible. Are either you or MBTM able to cover for me while I'm out of town at the end of the week? (22nd-25th) I'll have everything I need but time, but that's really the most important ingredient.

We've got oodles of food in the capital as it is, adding +1 food to that isn't worth the anarchy turn before the settler. Our expansion city will be working a lot of farms in the early going and it's growth curve will be awesome with Agrarianism. The turn *after* the settler completes and is walking along the road to it's destination is the turn to revolt.
The switch will be worthwhile, just not yet.
Soon though.

Coulda sworn you were tied into the tracker for this one. I'll post in the tech thread, therefore.
