That would mean 11pm in my time zone, I suppose, probably lasting until 1 or 2am, right? That works fine for me this saturday, but I don't think it would be a good idea for sunday.

I think I can manage to attend a blitz. I made some mistakes in the last one (which I'm blaming on being up too early and playing too fast), so I'd prefer later in the day, but I could manage to get to bed a little earlier if people would rather stick with noon GMT.

The time we've done is generally ok, but actually in this instance it would probably help me quite a bit to change it. That works out to 9am for me then, right? 10pm GMT?
I'll be somewhat distracted with the kids up and about, but the way a blitz goes, with 5 minutes of activity and then 30 minutes of just clicking refresh occasionally, it shouldn't be a problem. So I do quite like that option.
If we go with that time, then there's only really one choice of day. I can't do Monday morning, and the people in the American timezones probably can't do Friday day time, so there's only one option left - Sunday morning for the Australians, Saturday night for the Europeans and Saturday day for the Americans.

Yeah, so far every time we've done a blitz I've made a few mistakes too, particularly near the end when it's stretching my (rather short) future micro plans. Nothing major though, generally just a worker-turn lost or something. I dare say it affects all of us. I'll try and plan ahead a bit for this one, but, me not being someone who can quite make themselves take the time to construct a test game in worldbuilder to try things out on, it's hard to do effectively.

Sorry Thoth. For what it's worth, I actually went out of my way to say "American" timezones rather than "USA", so as to refer to the whole of North and South America, specifically because I hadn't checked where exactly anyone was from. Of course this then lead straight into me saying "Americans" thinking it was referring to anyone from either continent, although I realise it's well established as referring to people from the USA only. It's such an American thing to do really, to take over what's otherwise the best word for their entire continent and make it refer only to them.
It's just amusing that I actually specifically thought about not making that mistake and still did it anyway.

Technically all of North and South America is part of Greater Canada, we just haven't got around to annexing all of it yet.
