Yeah, I plan on building it again but I'm not sure where. Starbucks still has something like 70 turns of whip unhappiness, so I'm not sure that's the best spot. Right now I'm building a settler there to found another city to share some of it's food (and get more whipping for our happiness), but we can still try for it there.
Edit: 79 turns of whip unhappiness

the GG knight?
scooter: oh what's it called again? it was something odd
he specifically told me by chat "its not an attempt at diplo"
pindicator: "hope of aztecs losing"
scooter: lol
pindicator: so when it dies, it's going to say "XXX killed hope of aztecs losing"
why'd you attack us then, comm? lol
scooter: man, if only he could have done something about that
you know, with that big army and navy of his
that navy that is capable of crossing ocean tiles
GOT ANY IDEAS?!?!
pindicator: attack zulu! ...please tell me you named the unit that made the kill "Commodore attacking Zulu" or something along those lines

3) get him back for that GG mobility trick wait, you've already done that? Nice
Also, thanks to Gazglum / pindicator for referencing this in the current WW game. It's been a fun two days reading.

Dude I've told pindicator to rename units like five times and he never does it.

I can't help it! I get really excited when it's time to burn Commodore's things

Well, I don't think we need to worry about what we do next. Razing that last city of Commodore's has finally made him realize that he needs to stop messing around and give us a real war. I suppose I should have taken that straight up peace deal instead of burning his city.
I almost believed that myself for a bit
So Commodore finally means to end us.
Our boats are nearly equal in number. I think we have 1 or 2 more frigates, and 1 or 2 fewer galleons. I'm whipping boats everywhere again, although I need to get our Heroic City on catapults because I do not think we can stop him from landing. Maybe if we had twice as many ships we could. But the problem is that we cannot both prevent him from landing by Jamba Juice and defend our core cities. So I have moved our boats to defend the core, and moved our land forces (such as we have left) to repell the inevitable attack on Jamba Juice.
I do not have confidence in our success.
He is gathering all evil to him. Very soon he will have assembled an army large enough to assault Middle-earth Zulu

Try and get all our spies over to his continent and then we can revolt his cities or sabotage buildings as last acts of defiance.

There's two of them, and I pulled our ship back because we need to defend this. We'll see, if we get an opening i will. I'm also looking at setting sail with a settler and a musket or two for distant shores.
Very distant shores

The standoff continues...
I want at least 10 more catapults, so I have Taco Bell on those for the time being.
Commodore moved 4 galleons to his main stack. Only 4? I thought he was taking us seriously, but maybe he isn't? Or maybe something is sneaking in from the unwatched north. Kudos to him if he is aiming for that; I can't defend everywhere. But he has 4 galleons in Island of Sins and 4 in the stack, so something is odd. Since 2 of the galleons are Nav-1 and can boat Jamba Juice directly, I moved a frigate to keep that from happening. But we are still largely even in number of frigates.
I'm whipping everywhere. See:
And all our gold has been spent on upgrading Caravels to Frigates. But next turn we'll be up over 30 frigates. If Commodore waits too long, I'm going to have 40 frigates and then I'm going to sink his fleet.
Again.

Commodore moved all his galleons into the stack, and he has 2 more inbound from his mainland. Okay, so this really is it. 13 galleons in all, up to 52 units. Can't compete with that. And he's moved smartly to open up some options for retreating:
We're up to 30 frigates, but about a third of them are in transit from their bases. If he moves in the next turn or two then we can' stop him. If he wants to land up north then we can't stop him either. In fact, in all honesty, we probably can't stop him. But we can make him pay by sinking a lot of his navy.
I've thought of one more contest for anybody who is still reading this thread. Considering all the whipping we've done...
1) What is the highest amount of whip unhappiness we have in 1 city, empire-wide? Bonus points for correctly identfying the city.
2) If you added up all the whip unhappiness in all our cities, what would that number be?
All these answers as of turn 248. It will only go up from here!
Closest value to #1 gets to name our last city.
If we can think of a good prize for #2 then I'll do that too
And you all get to help me decide whether we should land that settler next turn, or spend 10 turns moving it to the ice islands near Bigger in the north:
