I'm considering buying the Averice quints and getting up to wealth for support builds. 5gp10 from the start of the game...
Current games (All): RtR: PB80 Civ 6: PBEM23

Yeah, someone is claiming going 9/21/0 will now be the way to tanky jungle (Rammus, Amumu, etc). And 21/9/0 for the offensive junglers (Shaco, Fiddle)

In all these 1400~ games, my team will wreck first 20-30 minutes, but then we just lose one fight from playing stupid despite being years ahead.

Its kinda funny.

And sad.

More sad then funny.

So what's everyone's impression of the new masteries and summoner spells ?
I really like the new masteries, but I am not really sure about the summoner spells.

I dont think we are going to see a lot more heal, revive or even the new promote. Surge on the other hand looks fairly interesting, this might be enough to tip the balance in a teamfight between equally strong teams. Does it actually stack ?

Utility tree sounds kinda useless after I think about it unless you are a support. Everything else just seems like it gives you more raw stuff. That is, I hate giving up on the 20% bonus buffs in the jungle tree, but offense/defense just seems to give you more. Now that you don't need bonus XP to jungle, I'd go 21/9 on Nocturne and 9/21 on Skarner or Udyr, with different analogies.

I don't know if buff duration is all that important for a jungler anymore. You are usually giving your blue buff to the mid after the first or second time, anyways.

I agree. I think optimal jungling masteries will be 21/9/0 or 9/21/0 for most champs. Or maybe one point in utility for flash CD. That (plus the reflect damage buff!) add up to a reasonable buff for most junglers, especially those who went deep into utility before.

Udyr's buff looks to be ridiculous. He can now go 21 in defense, while getting movespeed, attack speed, armpen, and damage reflect. As if he didn't clear the jungle fast before.

Interesting point about the masteries now is that you can get 10% cooldown reduction...

I'd love to see some sample new mastery setups from the community here.

My old mastery pages were: AD (21/0/9), Mage (9/0/21), Support (9/0/21), Warwick (specific combo like 16/4/10 or something), Jungle Amumu (1/16/13 I think), and Jungle Xin (1/20/9 I think).
