We shouldn't make the same mistake as RPB2. I suggest that we should allow a reload when it's a rare and honest mistake/missclick. However if it becomes constant or if it's dishonest (asking for a reload for example to react pre-emptively to a threat that appears after you've already moved), then no reload.

At least it seems my actions may be of some small service. smoke

It's a very slippery slope to allow misclicks or oversights to be corrected by reload. Technical issues or rule disputes only.

And especially since Dantski had a chance to fix the mistake, then it's on them. We've had 2 mistakes already in 30t, and as the turns get more and more complicated, it's only going to get worse. The lesson is that we all (myself included) need to double-check everything before hitting "end-turn".

I totally disagree. Why was the decision in pb2 a 'mistake' ?

I and many other neutrals in that game think it was the right decision. I love Whosit to pieces but think he made a total numpty'ish move. As he will agree with i'm sure.

Reloads, in my opinion, should be saved for much more serious occurances. As TT has pointed out our team has bitten the bullet once already and i'm sure we're not the only ones.

I strongly disagree. Well for one, the PB2 was more than a misclick, but besides that I view misclicks as part of the game. If you misclick, sorry, but sucks to be you. Being careful and not making mistakes like that is part of playing the game well.

Look, I for one rather detest the tyranny of the majority, especially the anger that it can create in a game like this.

Can we just get a game admin? I know this is probably the fourth or fifth time I've asked, but we would at least not be left hanging like this.

Oh come on, what's up with the wanting to reload for every little mistake?

Mistakes happen. Live with it or take more care not to make them in the first place. A big part of being skilled (as much in Civ as in anything else) is the ability to limit the amount of mistakes one makes, and this is supposed to be a competitive game.

we asked because we were the last to play and reloading wouldn't affect anyone else if done quickly

also expected people to be a little friendlier... cry

I selected the wrong tech by accident last turn, can I get a reload?

This is just my personal opinion not my team's, but I think that reloads are ok for misclicks. People may argue that it will get worse later etc., but should that happen we'll deal with it then.

The game should be fun for everybody. I feel that unfortunately these games have become so competitive that people tend to forget a bit the spirit of this community.

I also support Krill's decision for an admin.
