Oh well, I can just take those cities for myself now, no need to give him anything.

money quote from Mackoti in chat today: "I just want to play my turn quickly and go watch a soccer game". I almost feel sorry for the guy now.

How many cities do they have left? How much do you know about where they are and how built up they are?

They have 6 cities left. I know where all but one of them is, thanks to his screenshot of the military screen that he sent me. The only one i'm not sure about is his newest one, which I'm assuming is down south by the gems and ivory (where I'll capture it easily).

Ugggghhh this is annoying

I needed just ONE more turn to get a spear there. And how did he get it there so fast, anyway? I was pretty sure, when I founded, it that it would impossible for him to get a chariot there before I had a spear.

Actually I'm wondering if he did a double move here. Someone (cipcoz?) logged near the end of last turn, and then ioan logged in at the beggining of this turn. I'm pretty sure the only way there chariot could be there now, on turn 96, is if he moved before I did this turn.

The annoying thing is that i could have actually defended, in that case, except that I just moved my worker because I thought there'd be no point in chopping the last forest. Can someone please ask him about this, or figure it out from his thread?

Hm, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just ask yourself. But if he doesn't capture your city this turn, and the screenshot you posted is clearly from your half of the turn timer, that is a pretty strong indication he moved it already this turn, right?

Edit: actually looking at the minimap from the t95 screenshots that chariot does not seem to be visible to me. Which it would have to have been, to move to where it is now on turn 95 after your screenshots. So if you did indeed take that last screen during a part of the turn where they were not allowed to move, it seems they have moved too early on t96.

Doesn't he have to prove that he didn't move at the beginning of the turn if he logged in...?

I see a Chinese scout there. Maybe Plako can say what he saw?

And also, can you tell if the chariot's moved this turn directly? I forget if that's possible in a Pitboss; it's been near a year since I last logged into one.

If you didn't see the chariot last turn then it probably moved before you this turn. In which case you would have been fin with the chop and the spear would have been complete in time. If you moved the worker based on an illegal move not realizing it was illegal, does that constitute grounds for a penalty? say that the chariot is not allowed to move at all next turn?

That wouldn't be a sufficient solution, because his worker presumably moved off the forest, which loses two turns.
