Damn, that "let's sail to India and capture a new home"-plan is so crazy that I can't wait to see it happening. In their place, I guess I would offer a next city for Commodore immediately when the first deal expires. There's a fair chance that Com would accept a free city and give 10 additional turns of undisturbed retreat.
I kind of feel sorry for Team Jester&Nakor&UE. Having to deal with an all-or-nothing invasion force by an opponent, who is seemingly losing a war in a different continent is about the last thing that I would expect.
It will also be funny see other teams reaction when they notice that Team Scoopinhelium is taking cities from India while Commodore captures their land..
So much

This little invasion is going to wreak havoc on Jester's 300-turns out sandbox.

It'll be an important lesson for him. I think he'll pull through. One of the benefits of settling cities with usch crap inner rings is that any he loses aren't going to be that developed anyway.

The barb galleys that are currently smacking India around may end up being a huge help. If they get 4-6 triremes out before the Zulu attack, it'll only be because of the barbs.

What do people think of serdoas position here?
Half the world seems to think he's winning, while be feels in a horrible position- who's wrong?

Well, lack of iron will be the obstacle to overcome... All things being equal, I'd be more likely to trust Serdoa's self-assessment here - he's got way more information than everyone else in the game regarding his own position and the scoreboard can be quite deceiving in the first half of the game.

Knowing what I know from global lurking, if I was:
Khmer: I'd be overjoyed (and 4t from currency!)
India: I'd be really really pissed off
Zulu: I'd be looking for the valium

Everything seems to be playing into Plako's favour. India have a pretty bad empire (crop yield is atrocious for a team that has not had to compete with anyone yet), Zulu have taken themselves out of the game, Commodore still needs to expand, Arabia might lose metal to barbs (horrendous luck that) and Serdoa doesn't have a solid bottleneck to go and grab iron.
