North Korea Part II- The Final Naming Scheme

My window is pretty short, because once he gets rifles any attack will become impossible. Still, if I attack him, I can pretty easily take our two southern border cities. I guess the argument against attacking is that its not really playing to win. LP is providing me with 3 happy resources, 1 of them for free, as well as bananas and an extra source of iron. Attacking him would cost me a number of units and I would have to raze a least one, if not both of the cities I took. OTOH, this game has gotten really boring and I want to have some negligible impact on it instead of getting run over by tanks in 50 turns. On a more serious note - are you going to try to resettle those 2 razed cities? If so, then its pretty clear cut that it's for profit and then perfectly legitimate. Being bought off for peace means nothing - so that's a non-factor right there beyond your own interest. If you're not going to try to keep or resettle a city or two,....well that's a little closer to a spite attack. Nothing really wrong with a spite attack although you can understand that it would make the other player a little upset. But so what? This is a greens game and you're taking the opportunity to teach the jungle code. You should probably try to come up with some type of profit motive even if it's just capturing a resource tile or even just more culture tiles to get grow your bordering cities. Real wars have been fought for similarily small items - China-Vietnam IIRC and may be fought again over passage rights and/or to cap rising economic output. You need to fire up your propoganda machine - go back to your Airstrip One roots.
Renamed my empire "Overly Self-Referential Commune" and named my cities after different naming schemes.
Final naming scheme will be a mixture of streets in Stockholm and different syndromes, because I continue to spend way too much time on this game.
Turned off tech as there's no way I'm researching rifling before I die. Rest of commerce goes to upgrading old units. In theory, I can make any invader's life dificult with the 35 cats and 60 knights that I have. That is, until tanks start rolling in which case I guess I'll gift my army to Xenu who seems to be going for a misguided CV.
Update this weekend.
Update because I'm procrastinating over an essay I have to write by tommorow
Main stacks: I blew a GM mission on mass HA upgrades Lots of hilariously obsolete crap My civ is in a peculiar situation in that it should have been eliminated about 50 turns ago, but the complex geopolitical situation has made it so no one can safely attack me without facing harsh rebuke from far more advanced and powerful civs. Unfortunately, this has made the game incredibly boring as no one will attack me and my army is completely useless when attacking anyone else. I'm thinking of DOWing Molach just so he gets the hint, because that sounds way more interesting than queing up medieval military builds. Early warring, and having 5 neighbors with far superior economies has squished me and forced me to build an inordinate amount of military. This dug me into a huge tech hole that I have no hope of getting out of(My wealth-build-less breakeven is about 15% right now). I actually think my 40 cats and 60 knights along with a bunch of other junk would do a decent job against an invading army right now. The cats would destroy any non-machine guns or cannons, and the knights could kill the remaining siege resistant units, albeit at heavy losses, with the assorted trash cleaning up 10.0/20 infantry. The problem is, I don't think I'll be invaded until tanks and bombers, where there really is nothing I can do.
I think when you say

If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Thanks
The thing is, LP has like twice my army. If he didn't have to defend against wetbandit, retep and molach, I would be dead. As I've said ad nauseam, once Molach or LP gets industrialism, I'm finished. Tanks are just too fast and powerful for me to have a chance at stopping them. I might just run away and attack Suttree a-la PBEM4.
Don't call him LP.

retep is playing 4-minutes turns, interest is falling and turns are becoming more tedious. Soon this game will be over, and I haven't been to war for like 100 turns! There is only one solution:
hammerhammerhammer Oh, how much has changed... Last time I was North Korea, I did a terrible disservice to my namesake. I mean, I didn't piss off even one technologically superior neighbor at no benefit to myself!
