Grats but I do think your 2 2-move-draws are dangerous close to violate the spirit if not that of good sportmanship then that of RB.
Yeah, two move draw is lame.
I am tempted to resign my last two games so MJW would miss 1st place because of these cheap draws... then again that's not fair to other players either.
That really would not count though as you have a mate against NH and would win on tiebreak. In fact I would like it because it would show why moving as slow as possible is good; because Rego would be ripped off 1.5 points compared to the other bottom 3 from finishing quick. Actually 1.6 points because he would lose any tiebreak.
I really wanted the draws so I could stop checking into chess.com. I was wasting time spaming the refresh button.
An amusing fact. The top 4 all have perfect records against the bottom 6 so far; ignoring my draws.

Uh, you realize the tiebreaker value updates when someone you've drawn or defeated gets more points after your game is over, right?

Had this interesting position in a blitz game and thought I'd share it.
Black to move.

thought i posted this, but top 4 vs bottom 6 is about to get shattered. im going down!
as to the 2-move draws - i think the spirit of RB says play em out - but I REALLY know what you mean about spamming chess.com with useless refresh requests.
also for Jkaen's game vs Azza:
Here is the fritz analysis of your game Jkaen:

I believe it is possible to configure chess.com so it sends you an email whenever it is your move.
Check home->account->Alert&Email settings. Configure the alerts you want and check the box that says "Also send alerts to my default email adress".

Well, looks like I managed to bust into the biggest upset of the contest. Good game though waterbat: I thought I was going down when I found my pawn structure totally wrecked, but I decided to turn on an attack and managed to win by force.
Winning against Azzaman was also a pleasant surprise.

I'll try next time using email noticaftion when things die down next time.
I'm aware on how the tiebreak system works, NH. Because gustaran has more points than you and David I would have won the tiebreak. However, because waterbat lost I would still win even if I were to forfiet those games.

MJW, I'm not playing. I'm just not sure why you keep insisting that playing slow is the optimal strategy.
