Without fighting the Manticore = No. It's probably not worth it since you have to run and miss the rewards, aren't you?
Saved the Plague Village? = No. I did it in the original book, but only got a pat on the back and no reward.
Found the jewel-studded collar = Yes
Borrinskin boots = Yes
Made it through the Black Lotus? = No. Why would I walk through there in the first place?
Heard of Vik? = Yes. Very useful for part 2 IIRC.

I got max weapons = 5
Max magic item types = 7

That said ended with 4 gold, so not sure if its a better save than my previous one

Thanks for that link. I remember borrowing book 4 and 5 in the series from a friend (in Swedish, no less) so thanks for the re-match last few days....

Using the .pdf files I use random.org for the generations. One of the problems I found with the tables was that you could learn the patterns fairly well and teach yourself to stab in an area with high numbers fairly easily.

This kickstarter project prints your story as you go along, I can see that being an awesome gift for kids:

Interesting. Seems overpriced though, you can get two printers for $139...

I agree, I would think the price would only be a fraction if this went into regular production.
Then again
a) This is a prototype, so the money is needed for all the additional work. And I find it reassuring if a project creator uses a realistic price rather than running out of money halfway through the project.
b) I am not 100% sure, but I think you get a bunch of stories for the device as well?!
Anyway, if this were to drop around ~50 Euros I would most likely get one.
