Yeah, that's pretty fair.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

No no no, and I forget whose signature line I'm quoting here (Whosit?), but: It's not the winning, it's the taking apart!

I mostly agree. Though that moment when you realize you're about to runaway is freaking fantastic.

Way to go Gaspar, complain about signing up for a game against Commodore only to willingly involve yourself in another game against Commodore.

I don't dedlurk like you do though, where you're actually helpful for most of the game. I'll talk to pindicator a lot now, then he'll slow down updating, then I'll stop commenting regularly, then he'll update once in a blue moon, then I'll actually totally forget this forum even exists. Or you know, roughly like pindicator dedlurked us that one time he did whenever that was. I've actually never really successfully dedlurked someone, so its a very different sort of commitment.

Well put Gaspar. What game was it that I ded-lurked you in?
Anyway, let's look at openings! First Draft: Idea is Worker -> Warrior -> Worker -> Grow to 4 -> Whip Settler -> Overflow to Granary Execution: Worker (t7), Grow to 2 (t11), Warrior (t12), Worker (t16), Grow to 3 (t17), Revolt to Slavery (t18), Grow to 4 (t20), Whip + Chop Settler (t24), Granary (t25) Tech: Hunting (t2), Mining (t6), Pottery (t11), BW (t18), Revolt to Slavery (t19), Mysticism next for Stonehenge??? Link to the nitty gritty. Settler at t24 seems a bit slow for quick speed (equivalent to t36 for normal), but we do have 2 workers with enough turns to road to a 2nd city, a warrior for defense, a 2nd warrior at 6/10, and most importantly a granary in the capital. We'd probably grow to max or near-max size after that whip. We'd also have 4 turns put into a cottage. I put Mysticism for stonehenge but I dont' think we should necessarily do it unless we really push for it. Dazed's pick screams "I want to build stonehenge" after all. I'll look at some other variations later. Homework first though. I've spent too much time on this already Do you have any desire to do sandboxing, Gaspar? I can throw a very crude one together later tonight if you do. But I really need to do homework first.
