I came up with an idea of how to manage communication -- I do think that leaving everyone free to chat however over email will be both overly taxing and too favourable to people who just have more time on their hands.
My idea is to use three Google.docs as private "rooms" in addition to a general chat thread (so every party can be involved at most in one private conversation). Parties can go to a room via an announcement in the general thread, and go type in the relevant doc. Once they are done, they cut the text and send it to me via email, I post it in an appropriate thread. Room is free to use by whoever else. Gamemaster watches over to clean up if needes plus ensure that each room doc starts with instructions on how to use.
