Most of the deals this time around aren't particularly great, lots of games are 20% off. Was hoping the Age of Wonders 3 DLC would be discounted by at least 50%, but it's only 33%. Fallout 4 for 30 bucks is by far the best bargain I've seen so far.

It's a shame the Witcher 3 expansions aren't on a bigger sale. Guess I'll have to pick up Crusader Kings or Rust with my paltry cash
I think the old Steam Sales spoiled me, now I'm just disappointed when the games that I want are only 30-40% off instead of 75%.
Is the new Doom worth it at 40% off? People tell me the singleplayer is great, but it seems kind of repetitive from what I've seen. The demo didn't give me a good impression at all.
Only thing I've bought so far was Half-Life, and at this rate that might be it.
I recommend Dungeon of the Endless + DLC for under $8.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)

I didn't know anyone still played that. It was fun for me except the late game dungeons are super annoying. I dunno if they've balanced it better or if someone developped better builds to handle the super late game.
In Soviet Russia, Civilization Micros You!
"Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must." “I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money.”
Yeah it seems they drastically reduce the amount of Dust you get at endgame, which is indeed pretty annoying. I do think the game is well designed overall and pretty innovative as well, and well worth the purchase at that price. I certainly rate it higher than a number of comparable roguelikes.

King of Dragon Pass, which is apparently getting a sequel called Six Ages, is also available for under $8 too. I recommend that as well, and thank asm for pointing me to it some years ago. The Steam version was recently updated to include the new content (somewhat) recently added to the iOS version.

I've only played about 4 hours of How to Survive 2, but it satisfies my diablo-type urges. It's similar to a diablo II user interface with all of the collectin' and mob killing that you would like. Also fun if you're into zombies. Plus its $4.49 (!) on steam sale. Up to 4 player co-op on private servers and (I think) some support for up to 16.
