I can't speak for Sunrise but I imagine one of the reasons for having the dynamic DNS updating service is because he probably doesn't have a static WAN IP address on his home Internet connection. That usually costs extra in the US.

In my haste to play this morning I think I forgot to hit end turn and log out. If sunrise can disconnect me from the game so I don't block out anyone that'd be ideal. (unless that converts me to AI or causes other issues) Not sure if it's doable though.

Probably dynamic, but potentially the same for long periods of time.
