[spoilers] Gaspar and Commodore welcome you to the islands, mon!

Got it, played. Revantusk is garrisoned and the revolt chance is down below 8%. Pop there in two more turns.

Beyond that, boring infra stuff mostly this turn. Zuldazar is making a quick worker to not be unhappy, and also to hook wines faster. The galley is needed too, but what can ya do? Chops for Mount Mugamba will allow the new wines city to help contribute to the military push. Next turn, the grass hill mine can be donated to allow for a five-turn granary.

The outer-rim cities are growing nicely for all that they're costing us both arms and legs. I think I actually netted the other clams in-game, just went back to grab a picture. Meet Zul'Farak folks.

Zul'Aman, meanwhile, is getting really close to getting a nice tile. Those cows will allow it to take care of itself for a little while.

Need archers post-haste. Not sure the optimal time to revolt HR, probably in three turns once the worker/galley/settler all finish in the eastern empire. I think we'll go with "mobilize but no need to immediately strike". Sian, yah poor fella, you're doomed:

Quote:Sian: hmm ... jumpy connection
... read my mail?
Commodore: Hey, still have yet to hear Gaspar's thoughts.
12:21 PM This is a good point he has though. :P NAP are annoying, because when they end everyone always assumes that means war.
Sian: true, but thats the cards we're dealt by the majority
12:22 PM Commodore: Whereas really the ideal situation for us is just that you have to make a few defensive units, to match the garrisons we'll be making for HR.
12:23 PM Otherwise, we'll have to pay for units for happiness and the Pyramids holder can get away without making those extra units, which is a huge benefit in addition to Representation.
12:24 PM Sian: given that i'm planing to make those units anyway and its mainly a question about if i should station them in your end or sniping a city or two of Regos
doesn't have the resouces for both atm
12:25 PM and unless someone snipes a city or two from Rego (pin is unwilling, and honestly you and Yuri is to far away) he's running away
12:26 PM Commodore: He's run away again and again in these games, and always manages to shoot himself in the foot.
12:28 PM shrug I'll talk to Gaspar about it when I catch him on, but for now if you want, plan on the NAP expiring.
12:30 PM Sian: then i'm forced to except a sneak attack from you guys, having to dedicate foodhammers to make it impossible for you to win it, being unable to take Rego down a shot or three (while you for the record would be able to expend somewhat)
expand*
12:32 PM and ... given i'm forced to except a sneak attack from you guys it wouldn't be in my interest to supply you with a settler for the swamped city.
which you knew, even before Pedro became a holy city, would be a tough hold.
12:33 PM Commodore: Oh, Revantusk will be ours either way.
All its good tiles are to the east.
12:34 PM That's fine about its west tiles, price of doing business with a Creative neighbor.
2/0/2 coastal tiles aren't exactly the best to work anyway.

Yuri, yah screwed us man. Ceil, I'm 98.2% sure it's 23 that's making him so paranoid.

Not to be annoying, but Zul'Farrak has two Rs. smile

Got it, played, had Mr. Spock mock our team-playing ways.

Military time! Zim'Torga, with wines and MPs, will be a fine military pump, so I'll be making a barracks. As you can see, copper is in-border and hooked up, so it's axe time as soon as we can.

Also had Echo Isle finish a galley bringing us to a whooping four 3-move galleys thus far. The scientist I hired to do something useful whilst avoiding growth. I wish we could mine and keep that plains hill, but Mr. Terrace over there won't have that.

Yojamba popped borders at EoT as well, ensuring a little more security for us. It need an MP archer or two next, and also a workboat when the chance presents itself.

The worker could go mine the other hill for Yojamba, but I think the winery is probably more important, we're hurting for happy. Either next turn or the turn after let's go ahead and revolt to HR.

Awesome little Mount Mugamba was founded this turn, its tiles might be iffy (although a couple mines, fish, and wines would be heavenly in an island city), but check out the maintenance. I'll take it being 1/3 the cost of one of our other new foundlings.

Speaking of new foundlings...Sen'jin whipped in the settler this turn, what foodhammer thing do we want next? I notice that was somehow have two warriors here, given the happy issues and how hard we like to whip this place, that's probably fine. Barracks next, even?

I feel clever about one bit of micro this turn, Peon just finished the road this turn, but was able to load into the galley and then be unloaded into Zim'Torga all in one fell swoop. It'll bee-line the wines, stopping on the riverside plains tile to cottage like it's worker buddy currently in Zandalar, too.

Noble Helium, Eastasia has always had two "r"s.

Quick report as I'm off in a moment. Decided to 1T HBR before revolting, let's revolt HR next turn. Otherwise just basically did what you said.

We're currently #2 in Soldier points with nothing - I'm guessing nobody else has the early bloodlust.

...and actually played a while ago, but needs must as devils drive.

So, anyway, the gist of it is, now we can make scary Numidians:

And because of who our forebears were, we have a right to militarily oppress our people. Now they'll see the violence inherent in the system:

Lessee, what else...of, hey, the Cartoonians are down to a mere 3/4 majority in Revantusk. Need to whip that hard next turn, then overflow->archer.

Sian is settling a silk city for us too, that's nice of him. Although it means Pedro can't be sneak-boated until turn #2 of the war, more's the pity. Still, hey, silk!

Peons are all converging on the wines, we'll be able to build the winery and hook it up via road next turn, for the even-greater happiness. This wine will be used to drown the sorrows of the many widows and orphans our military push is going to create.

Beyond that, a couple status screens. Looks like Yuri's neck-and-neck with us again.

Also, let's swing south on our way to desert hill here (probable Moai location?). Plako being plako, I'll give you even odds the iron is kinda out here.

Now, time for making lots and lots of soldiers.

Okay, 'twas a turn of great happenings. Firstly, notice the lovely new tile Mount Mugamba here is using? Nice commerce per turn now, by the way. The wines, soaking up four workers, are now online and the entire empire is happy.

The scouting galley+settler found a very picturesque little city site on the desert tile there. It can work (stagnated, but meh) two plains hill mines, silk, clams, and a cottage. Not a bad city for tiny islands.

I held off dropping the settler, because we'll need two things before that city goes down, either a better way to pop borders or I guess a worker to mine while it works on making a monument, and ensuring we can capture Sian's silk island so that we can actually hook up the resource. Yuri's expanding out, so we can't dwaddle.

Revantusk is looking better, exerting a 1/3 control already of its crucial inner tiles. The staging area is going to be clear in time for D-day (whenever that is).

Indeed, after ending turn it almost looks like we're reclaiming our lands here. thumbsup Overflow goes to an archer, then we can maybe make a monastery for missionaries and culture. Wait...need another work boat first.

The core is mostly focused on military, from now until time to kick things off. I think a strong mix of axes and Numidians should do just fine.

The Numidians should be produced in the barrack cities, I think, as they already have Flanking I and nice withdraw, FII makes for an early catapult. We have enough happy now to just relentlessly whip this stuff out.

Looking good thus far.
