Do they know that we know that they know that we know that they know ...?

Once Currency is in, we could whip the aqueduct and go for it. We're scheduled to build a cottage for WIFOM on T104 which could be a mine instead. If so, change production back to the aqueduct right away.

That's not really true, we're just behind on growth. With ivory, silks, sugar, a market and no whip anger, our happy cap in the capital would be 15.

They can be size 20 when we can reach 15. We should definately start growing now that Civil Service isn't that far away.

TEAM: grew for 4 pop, got an ancient era tech (think it's gotta be either Medi or Poly, put it down as Medi). They had the power rise last turn not M3, gotta check graphs to see if it was them this turn too.

M3: Either grew 3 pop or got a classical era tech - going for pop at the moment. Need to check graphs for power.

Gillette: whipped for one pop, grew two cities.

Pirates: settled a new city, whipped 6->4 and grew a size 4->5. Got 9 new land tiles with their city.

Another 7 land tiles split somewhere between the teams that are not Pirates.

TEAM founded Confucianism in Sob Stories, their border city bordering Horse's Neck:

That should help their culture war, it's a bit of an exposed location for a holy city, though.
I have to run.

Not that bad. If we can get to 60% 1st we should be able to keep the contested hill on our side for quite a while. Running caste artists during golden age would make it very likely we get there 1st. Only problem is that we might get Artist instead of some more useful Great Persons.

Scraping this in just before plako puts the next turn report up (hopefully!):

TEAM: Whipped 6->4, grew 4->5 both in cities we can see, also grew 3->4 or 2->3. They also got an ancient era tech, saying Priesthood. They got about half the power last turn too, saying that's a Chariot. I think (and need to check) their power stayed the same this turn. Apparently that was bobbins. They got a large power increase on T102.

M3: Whipped 7->5 in a city I could see, grew either 3->4 or 2->3. Got half the power last turn, 2k was pop saying the other 2k was a Warrior. Got 14k of power this turn in units or buildings putting them above us in power (I think, need to check). Only change to their power was losing 1k for pop decrease.

Gillette: New city, plus grew 1->2. Also got another 6k of power - 2 Archers perhaps?

Pirates: nothing visible.

12 tiles of land to share out, some of those will be Gillette's.

Meant to do this at breakfast time & completely forgot, oops. At least I remembered before T104 got round to us.

TEAM: Double whipped something, grew 3 cities, planted a new city. Also got Code of Laws, which novice already said in an earlier post smile

Menagerie: grew two cities.

Gillette: planted a new city and grew 4 more. Also got 4k of units/buildings - put that down as a Chariot.

Pirates: grew 2 cities.

13 land tiles spread between everyone but Pirates - probably all belonging to Gillette & TEAM.
