Yeah, we need to wait a few turns before offering peace, it also let's them "forget" that we screwed them by forcing the axe slave. And hopefully force them to chop more forests into junk.

The problem is that we can't really distract them for 9 turns...I think they get to make the next move, if they chop an axe at their second city then it's balls to the walls time, if they try to focus on getting more workers and settlers and just force us to stop screwing them around with the warriors, then we have a good chance of pulling off the pink dot. My suggestion is to annoy them enough to keep on their toes, and keep units dealing with our warriors, but try not to force them to build an axe that they can throw at the pink dot.

Agree. If the axe moves out of the city, I say we move the South warrior South. Also the North warrior I think goes NE onto the forest, away from the city, but also towards the tree line. Threatening but not threatening.

They will move the axe 4 to protect the city, both hills, threaten the southern warrior and get into position to cut off the northern warrior if we dick about. If we move the southern warrior 6 we can try and circle around the city and get our warrior between pink dot and the axe, and it forces them to keep the axe around their capital.

Good point about trying to get the warrior into a position he might be able to get back to the pink dot from.

WW grows, worker starts chop for archer, archer started, cap grow to 4 in two more turns.

Here's a view of the horse city and the land between us and Trolls:

Maybe we should be planting closer? 1 more tile South? Maybe I can get our workers down there faster and hook up horses earlier? Is that too dangerous? I think I can get us the horses by T50 if we settle the city 1 tile south. It will mean the city is built T47 though. Also it will mean whipping WW to get the 3rd worker out, but I can actually get the worker out a turn earlier if I do that. So its an interesting trade off.

Trolls did what we expected with their units and I moved as we discussed:

If we're considering moving pink dot 1S, and losing the cow, should we not consider 1SE as well for the hill plant for defense? The main problem with this would be trading grass/forest deer for plains hill sheep (bleh). We'll also lose a grassland river. But, given our antagonism towards them so far, defensibility is certain to be an issue.

Overall, after laying it out, the plains location makes a better city that gets up faster, if we can hold it. Thoughts?

I suggest peace as soon as practical. We are killing those demos.
