I think it is a good idea to poke the Germans, seeing that there is little time left and they have not logged in yet.
Anyone against that?

Go ahead, no-one wants teams missing turns.

PMs sent to Regis Hastur and Pucc, two of civforum.de's team captains.
As for civplayers ... at least they logged in once this turn. I would assume they are ok.

Yeah, and all the teams can do this turn is wait for their workers and do a scouting move. Missing the next turn would be much more painful.

And now the turn rolled. CivFr had a score increase to 35.

Yes, and our warrior died!
The micro-experts have to revise the plans, I guess.

Bummer.

But I thought about it earlier, and we can still follow our plan, by borrowing a bit from our earlier plan for 1W of gold:

Instead of having our workers roading the tile 1E of the deer, the workers join the settler on T32 on the intended city tile.

Then, on T33 they just go ahead and farm the corn as planned earlier. We will lose 3 worker-turns (two that were spent roading on the way out, and one on the way back that was spent cottaging), but no more than that.

Turn 11 - 3560BC

This was a good example of why having barbs on can be so frustrating:

Our warrior has been on defensive terrain nearly every turn, but the one turn he had to move through flat ground, that was the turn that a lion appeared next to him in the fog. There was a 10% chance that the lion wouldn't attack, and then we had 67.8% odds to win the battle. Neither one went our way, and our scouting warrior is now dead. Pretty dumb. Our warrior goes down to one of those big stupid early game dice rolls. rolleye

As kjn said, this doesn't really change the micro plan much at all. We certainly don't want to alter our fast-starting growth plan to push out another warrior. We can crash-build a warrior if need be should an enemy unit show up. The big detriment is the fact that we won't be getting any scouting info for the immediate future, and that's a big loss. We are scheduled to get another warrior on Turn 18, and then another warrior on Turn 39. Again, we can alter this if need be, but I would prefer to keep pushing growth unless we see another team and see them taking an aggressive posture.

Demographics. No increase in Power or population from any of the other teams. CivFr almost certainly picked up Agriculture for themselves. Not much more to say - hopefully teams will play faster than they have been doing. We literally have nothing to do right now other than end turn.
