By the by, I'm fine w/T200 re: Lord Parkin. If we attack someone sooner rather than later, its virtually guaranteed to be plako or Locke. Better that LP doesn't get any bright ideas should that occur.
Hopefully by the time those turns roll around, we'll have options.

Ok, NAP-ped LP to T200. Now we need to find a way to get 5 settlers build and ferried over. Time for some whipping in a few turns, I think.
Is there a Galley in place to ferry over the GS to the capital?
IW is only an option techwise if we go for Calender pretty soon afterwards. So I think going Monarchy - Feudalism - CS - IW - Calender - Optics is an interesting option, or we could fo CS - IW - Calender - Optics - Mon - Feud or any other variety you like.

Time to see if your unique building is worth anything.

Indeed, we'll see!
Ended turn. Is there a particular reason we are not in OR yet?

Yeah - I wanted to pair the OR switch with switching back to slavery, but we need to wait until the GS is done in Crossing for that. If we went OR, we'd have to wait a few more turns for the slavery switch, and as you said, I think a round of whipping is just what the doctor ordered.
There is not a galley in place for the Gsci. I've been leaving the units to you.
Re: the tech rate, I suppose that I thought there might be value in finding Iron sooner rather than later for dotmapping purposes. I assume we all have it, as we've all had copper and horses, but one never knows. Even still, you're probably right and it can continue to wait. Only rego has Iron hooked up yet.
Monarchy -> Feudalism -> Civil Service -> Iron Working -> Calendar sounds like a pretty good tech plan to me. Archery is probably a 1T tech, probably should slip that in somewhere as well. I'd rather be building Longbows than Axemen at this point. Optics needs Machinery so it will have to wait, though Construction -> Machinery -> Compass -> Optics has some validity after Calendar. That's too far out to be planning at this point, though.

Loaded up the game, apparently there's a new turn:
Beaverpass: Courthouse -> Market (30)
We got a spread of Taoism in Beaverpass. Probably worth poking it around a few places, options are always good. Silver now connected, bumping the happy cap up, so I tweaked the micro around a bit to accelerate growth. It irritates me to no end that I can't ever make myself do this in a SP game. I micro'd Dorestadt to make the Galley pop out a turn sooner, so we can ferry the GSci back sooner. Will need to tweak the tiles back for commerce next turn.
Next turn, switch to Slavery and OR. We should switch Crossing to Settler at the same time and fire all the scientists, then whip it as soon as it becomes available. We can ferry over an MP unit from Dorestadt after the GSci comes back. Actually, once we get a couple galleys in place, we can just leave Crossing on Settler duty for a little while. Probably whip in a forge sometime in the near future as well. Monarchy will come in basically right after Civic switching becomes available again. Need to get a few more improved tiles ready for that, however. Well, and for that matter, MP units. We really need a decent military pump, all of our cities are too hybrid-ish. Also, you really like Axes, Nakor. I probably would have alternated a few spears in, not that it matters in the least.
Didn't hit end turn, I still have no idea what you're doing with the scouting units, and maybe you'll have some insights I missed.
On the plus side, at least I'm a better teammate since PBEM12 ended? Still lots of theory little action, though. :P
EDIT: I should mention, there's a non-trivial chance the GP in Crossing is a Great Artist. If that's the case, I'm going to need a new computer. 2:

It's a lot easier to play PBEMs and PB games properly...one turn at a time is easier for us "ADHD" individuals.

We are getting in a lot better shape.
Moved the scouting units and ended turn.
I did micro Helluland onto another cottage instead of a mine, will speed growth with 2T and delay the market with only 2t (1 after growth).
Missionary heading for Riverland to battle the cultural pressure?
I really appreciate your effort and input, Gaspar! Can't manage to do all this micro in SP either...

I was intending the Missionary for Helluland, since it gets solid production and can use the OR bonus. Riverland is a lost cause, I think. I doubt we'll ever see it's second ring.
Re: things turning around. Said it before, but Locke is playing the game we should have played, but that's the difference between Expansive and Organized. Should have gone Louis when Catherinen was off the board, but I really wanted Spiritual.

Okay, will send the Missionary there. I do not agree about Riverland being a lost cause, so we'll send a missionary there as well soon.
Galley done in Dorestadt, Settler next.
GS born in Crossing, ordered a settler to be whipped there as well. Guess your computer will survive...
Confu spread in Helluland. Taoism spread to Silverland naturally...
Now, let's get some pictures for the lurkers:

Didn't end turns since we might want to switch to Slavery this turn...
