I put it there because there was another non-Civ SG already there and it seemed like a good idea to keep them all together, but I have no preference.

Has the forum been really slow for anyone else today? I bring it up just in case one of the admins made some sort of change today that has resulted in the server being slower.

Yes, it's been REALLY bad for me the last couple days. Every now and then it works fine, but especially replying to threads is really, really slow. Did something change?

According to an email from the server admin, there is another larger site on the server that has been having optimization problems and is taking up more resources than usual. That's all the info on it that I know right now. Good thing is nothing is wrong on our end this time.

It's terribly slow, and has been so for some time now. Frustrating.
If you know what I mean.

According to King of Pain, the large website slowing down ours will be moved to a different physical server tomorrow. So these most recent slowages and stoppages SHOULD stop then.

Forum seems to be back online after some downtime, and it's feeling snappy. However, it's not marking the threads I visit as read. Anybody else have the same issue?
I have to run.

Aha. The two are probably related.
