I can't even count how many times I've ignored it to the end of a turn while I've been pressing "enter" to cycle through units, and accidently changed my tech to Divine Right or accidently revolted to Serfdom or accidently started a wall in my backline capital.
This is the current situation
Before he can attack peacemonger, I'll have 14 vultures there, plus some chariots and spears, to oppose his 14 axes, 1 spear and 1 HA. No way he's getting through there.
He has six catapults though? Are you going to attack out?

I'm going to set a trap for him.
He only has 13 axes, so it's completely impossible for him to take the city this turn. In fact, in my sims it looks like a lot of the axe battles will be about 50-50 (whether he uses 2 cats to bombard the defences, or just attacks with all of them, it's about the same). So he'll lose a lot attacking right now. And he won't be able to see the force of 7 chariots that I have waiting behind the city (1 on the forest hill, with 2 workers to road it). If he attacks, there's a chance that I might be able to counterattack next turn and wipe him out. If not, I'll have walls, so I can dig in for a seige.
Wow, he went for it. Should I counterattack next turn? Too bad my medic died, but I'll still get a lot of healing from the city and promotions.
Wow. He has 7 axes left? So he lost 8 of em.
Looking at that I'm not sure what would be better, Counter attack or just sit and wait for the walls? Scratch that counterattack is always better. XD The river is a bit of a pain, but waiting only lets him promote his units that reached promo levels. It'll hurt to throw the chariots at his spear and HA but it might be worth it. They probably won't reach the axes though. You'll probably end up useing the last few on cats. Is that worth it? That's gotta be the question.
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
